UFC Fight Night: Font Vs Garbrandt Betting Odds

Written by on May 21, 2021

It’s always tough to follow a title fight weekend in the UFC, but we have to say that the main card for UFC Vegas 27 looks like a great one. In all, there are 6 fights set to go on the main card, including a couple that could potentially edge fighters closer to a title shot in the future. We have you covered and have all the UFC odds and predictions for the main card, so let’s get to it.

UFC Fight Night: Font Vs Garbrandt Odds & Picks | MMA Betting

Jack Hermansson (-150) Vs Edmen Shahbazyan (+120)

The main card begins with a Middleweight bout and a pair of fighters looking to get back to winning ways. Hermansson is now on a run that has seen him lose 2 of his last 3 fights, taking his career record to 21-6. Shahbazyan is looking to bounce back after taking the first loss of his pro career last time out after starting with 11 straight wins. It could get worse for him, as I like Hermansson here.

David Dvorak (-140) Vs Raulian Paiva (+110)

It is the Flyweights who are up next, with both of these men hovering around the top 10 in the division. Dvorak is 19-3 and coming into this one on a run of form that has seen him win 15 in a row, which includes his first 2 fights with the UFC. Paiva lost his first 2 UFC fights, but has since followed that up with back-to-back wins. This looks like a good one and I have Dvorak by decision.

Felicia Spencer (-185) Vs Norma Dumont (+155)

The women are up next for a Featherweight bout that looks to be pretty evenly matched. Spencer has saw a great start to her pro career derailed a little with 2 losses in her last 3 fights to take her to 8-2 overall. Dumont is 5-1 and rebounded nicely with a win after taking the first loss of her pro career. This is a chance for Spencer to get back on track and I think she takes it.

Justin Tafa (-190) Vs Jared Vanderaa (+155)

Next up is a Heavyweight bout that could well be a blink and you’ll miss it affair. Tafa is 4-2 and is coming off a controversial split decision loss, which was the first time he had seen a fight go the distance. Win or lose, Vanderaa is another fighter who tends to see fights finish early. I don’t think this fight goes beyond Round 2 and I have Tafa for the KO win.

Xiaonan Yan (-130) Vs Carla Esparza (+100)

The co-main event of the night features a pair of women knocking on the door of a Strawweight title shot. Yan is an impressive 13-1 in her pro career and comes into this fight on an 11-bout win streak. Esparza is ranked just behind Yan in the division and has won 4 in a row ahead of this one. I see this one going the distance, with Yan getting the nod.

Rob Font (-115) Vs Cody Garbrandt (-115)

These two are highly ranked in the Bantamweight division, but one probably needs this fight more than the other. Font comes into this fight having won 3 in a row, including an opening round hammering of Marlon Moraes last time out. Garbrandt is trying to snap out of a skid that saw him lose 3 in a row and take a year off. He is coming off a win in his return. This should be a great one, but Font edges it.
