UFC Betting Preview and Guide for the 2023 Events

UFC Betting Preview and Guide for the 2023 Events

This weekend, it will be UFC 281 that will serve as the highlight event of the MMA calendar. It will be the first of 5 more UFC events before the organization closes up shop for the holiday period. All the cards are filled for each of those events, so we know exactly what to expect and can start planning our wagers right away. Looking ahead, we can expect another busy year in the world of UFC, and while we do know what is going on in the first couple of months of the upcoming new year, we don’t know all the details. There are some things that we can share, so let’s look ahead to the first 5 events that UFC has announced for the 2023 schedule, keeping in mind that the information delivered here may change prior to each event. Let’s get right to it so you can plan your bets against the UFC Odds.

Upcoming UFC 2023 Events | MMA Betting Update

UFC Fight Night 217 – January 14

The new season will open in Las Vegas, but after this one, we will see the UFC head out to different spots across the world. There have been a few bouts officially announced for this one, including the following:

  • Kelvin Gastelum Vs Nassourdine Imavov
  • Jeff Molina Vs Jimmy Flick

UFC 283 – January 21

Some of the best fighters to ever set foot in the octagon have come from Brazil, so it’s perhaps not that surprising to see the UFC head to Rio de Janeiro for the first numbered event of the 2023 season. There are a pair of fights that have been announced for this one, but obviously a whole lot more to come. The announced events are:

  • Terrance McKinney Vs Ismael Bonfim
  • Thiago Moises Vs Guram Kutateladze

UFC Fight Night 218 – February 4

The early road trip continues with the second Fight Night of the year, with this one set to take place in Seoul, South Korea. This will be an excellent opportunity for the UFC to expand its horizons and bring in new fans. The announced bouts feature, as you might expect, feature fighters from that part of the world. Here are a couple of those bouts:

  • Kim Ji-Yeon Vs Mandy Bohm
  • Devin Clark Vs Jung Da-Un

UFC 284 – February 12

It’s another long road trip for the fighters involved in this one, with UFC 284 set to take place in Perth, Australia. This will be the first trip Down Under since 2019, which is not totally surprising given all that went down with the pandemic. Not a whole ton of details available for this one, but there are a couple of bouts already announced:

  • Robert Whittaker Vs Paulo Costa
  • Justin Tata Vs Parker Porter

UFC Fight Night 219 – February 18

We have reached the point where we really know very little about this one. There has not even been a location announced for this one, although I would not be surprised to see the UFC return to Las Vegas for this event. Still, there are a couple of announced bouts to report, which are as follows:

  • Nazim Sadykhov Vs Evan Elder
  • Billy Goff Vs Themba Gorimbo

We will have more details on all of these events closer to the time, as well as previews and predictions for each of them.
