Trilogy vs. Enemies
Big3 Odds: Trilogy +3.5; Enemies -3.5 / O/U 93.5
Trilogy was the highest-scoring team and best defensive team in the league this season. Looking for their third straight championship, let my head coach Stephen Jackson; they come in as the second seed here.
Earl Clark, a 6’10 big man, and Amir Johnson are solid down in the paint for Trilogy. Isaiah Briscoe is a great shotmaker as well. Clark is the third-best rebounder and top in blocked shots this season. For the Enemies, Gilbert Arenas is the head coach.
They progressively get better, as they went 1-5 in 2021 and 2-4 last season. Making the playoffs is a huge plus for this team. Nick Young, Isaiah Austin, and Quincy Miller help the squad, but Jordan Crawford has been the alpha.
He leads the league in scoring, as he scored 154 points this season. Crawford is also the top three-point shooter in the league with 21.
This should be a great game, but the experience of Trilogy should play a factor and lead them to another title game next weekend.
Triplets vs. Ghost Ballers
Big3 Odds: Triplets -3.5; Ghost Ballers +3.5 / O/U 92.5
The Triplets are the top seed at 6-2. They took a loss in Week 1 to Bivouac and then got smacked in Week 6 by the Killer 3’s. Other than that, they have been solid.
Led by head coach Lisa Leslie, the team is looking to get back on track following a poor season in 2022. Captain Joe Johnson has been outstanding for them, second in the league in scoring with 152 points and also second in rebounds with 70.
The Triplets also have Jeremy Pargo and Damien Wilkins, who spent a combined 13 years in the league as well. For the Ghost Ballers, they are back in the postseason following their 3-3 season a year ago. Last year, they lost in the first round to Trilogy.
Mike Taylor, the captain of Ghost Ballers, has shown he is one of the toughest players in the league, and Darnell Johnson has been a pain in the side of opponents in the paint all season. Head Coach George Gervin has some big-man experience to talk about.
This is a tough team to defend. While the Ghost Ballers will play it tough, Triplets are too tough to defend in this one.
