Ball Hogs 1-5 vs Trilogy 1-5
Once again, Ball Hogs blew a nice lead after the first half. The Hogs were up 26 to 21 over undefeated 3 Headed Monsters after the first half in their 51 to 45 loss. What happened? Ball Hogs’ defense fell apart in the second half. They produced only 19 points while 3 Headed Monsters went crazy with 31.
Trilogy won it all in 2017. They aren’t close to the squad that won it all in 2018. Tri-State has been so bad that they lost to Ghost Ballers in Week 6.
Ball Hogs is the play.
Big 3 Basketball Week 7 Pick: Ball Hogs
Tri-State 4-2 vs Killer 3’s 2-4
In Week 6, Tri-State had no answer for 3’s Company’s barrage. Tri-State’s David Hawkins tried as hard as he could, but he alone couldn’t keep 3’s Company from holding Tri-State to 15 points in the first half and 14 points in the second half.
Killer 3’s didn’t have any answer for Power, though. Power kept the Killer 3’s to an awful 10 points in the first half. It was over after that.
Tri-State bounces back with a big win on Friday.
Big 3 Basketball Week 7 Pick: Tri-State
Power 5-1 vs 3 Headed Monsters 6-0
Big3 Week 7’s marquee matchup has Power taking on undefeated 3 Headed Monsters. Power’s Corey Maggette, the former Duke star, has taken over the Big 3 Basketball season. Maggette ranks first in points scored at 108. He ranks third in rebounds with 46. He ranks first in assists with 22.
3 Headed Monsters stepped up the defense in the second half of their 51 to 45 win over Ball Hogs last Friday. The Monsters held Ball Hogs to only 19 points after yielding 26 to the Hogs in the first half.
But if they allow Maggette to go off in the first half on Friday, forget it. Power will roll to the victory.
Big 3 Basketball Week 7 Pick: Power
Ghost Ballers 1-5 vs 3’s Company 4-2
Ghost Ballers finally got something in the win column. The Ballers used a 25 to 18 first half to coast to a 50 to 41 win over Trilogy. Ghost Ballers will be looking to make it two in a row.
That most likely won’t happen because Friday’s opponent, 3’s Company, looked fantastic demolishing Tri-State 51 to 29 in Week 6. 3’s Company should add another loss to Ghost Ballers sad record.
