Cage Warriors 134: Vucenic Vs Hendin Betting Preview & Analysis

The weekend is upon us, which means that it’s time for another round of big MMA events. Cage Warriors get the weekend rolling with a pretty solid main card on Friday afternoon at 1:30 PM EST. There are 6 fights set for the main card, with a title fight acting as the headliner, so we have a lot of ground to cover in this one. Let’s break down each of the 6 fights, with Cage Warriors Odds and predictions included for each one.

MMA Betting Preview for Cage Warriors 134

Lone’er Kavanagh (-265) Vs Ryan Morgan (+205)

The evening begins with a Flyweight bout featuring a pair of fighters in the very early stages of their pro careers. Kavanagh comes into this one having won each of his first 2 fights, with both wins coming in the early rounds. Morgan has only had 1 professional fight to this point, which he won by unanimous decision. I like this one to go all the way, with Kavanagh getting the decision.

Ben Ellis (+140) Vs Nik Bagley (-170)

We have the Featherweights up next and another two fighters who are still in the early stages of their careers. Ellis started out hot, winning 3 in a row, but he took his first loss last time out and will be looking to bounce back. Bagley has won both of his fights to this point, including a win in his first bout with Cage Warriors. I think Bagley keeps his unbeaten streak alive with a decision win.

Tobias Harila (-360) Vs Decky McAleenan (+260)

With this Lightweight bout, we are starting to move into fights between more experienced fighters. Harila comes into this one sitting at 9-2 overall, but he is also coming off a loss that dropped him to 1-1 with Cage Warriors. McAleenan is 7-4-1 and is now on a run where he has failed to win in back-to-back fights. I think that trend continues, with Harila getting the win.

George Hardwick (-425) Vs Lukasz Kopera (+325)

Next up is a Catchweight bout between a pair of fighters who are currently heading in opposite directions. Hardwick is 8-1 overall and is coming into this fight on a very solid 4-fight win streak. On the flipside, Kopera has been struggling, losing 2 in a row and 3 of his last 5 to fall to 10-6 overall. A tough one for Hardwick, but I think he gets the win.

Will Currie (-800) Vs Patrick Vallee (+500)

The Middleweights will step into the octagon for the penultimate fight of the night, with both fighters looking for a reversal of fortune. Currie is coming off a win last time out, snapping a 2-fight losing streak in the process. Vallee, on the other hand, fell to 12-12-2 overall after losing 3 of his last 4 fights. I like Currie to get the KO win here.

Jordan Vucenic (-200) Vs James Hendin (+160)

The headline event of the evening is a Featherweight Championship fight, with Vucenic looking to defend his title. Vucenic is 8-1 overall and on a 6-fight win streak that includes 3 straight victories via split decision. Hendin has spent most of his career with Cage Warriors, going 5-1 in his 6 fights with them and 6-1 overall. I think Vucenic keeps the belt, but he’ll need to go all the way to do it.
