The CFL only has one undefeated team, the defending Grey Cup champion Toronto Argonauts. The Argonauts can continue running away from the rest of their weak division and return to the playoffs.

Being 0-5 is difficult enough for everyone who cares about the Elks’ organization. Having an 18-game home losing streak hanging over Edmonton’s heads is also a tough burden for the team to bear. Edmonton has only been competitive in its two losses to Saskchatewan this season. Otherwise, the Elks have been blown out.
Edmonton is 1-5 against the spread this season. Much of the Elks’ struggles have come from a putrid offense. Edmonton has only scored more than 13 points in one game this season. Hamilton picked up its first victory last week. Now, the 1-3 Tiger-Cats are hoping to extend Edmonton’s suffering. The Tiger-Cats, who are 1-3 against the spread, have played a tough schedule this season and should be able to cover the spread against Hamilton.

The Argonauts haven’t skipped a beat coming off the heels of their Grey Cup victory last season. Toronto is off to a 3-0 start, including a 21-point win against the B.C. Lions in its last game. Argonauts quarterback Chad Kelly hasn’t set the league on fire, passing for 751 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions.
Toronto running back A.J. Oullette has been excellent, rushing for a team-high 214 yards and scoring four touchdowns this season. Montreal has hit a wall after a 2-0 start. The Alouettes got beat up by Winnipeg and B.C. during the past two weeks. Montreal’s offense won’t be able to keep up with Toronto either.

The Blue Bombers, who are 4-1 against the spread, won their past two games by double digits while limiting their opponents to a combined 14 points.
Ottawa is 1-3 against the spread and 1-3 overall. The Redblacks haven’t allowed any team to score more than 26 points against them. Ottawa will keep this game within double digits, but won’t win outright.

The Stampeders rallied from 10 points down in the first meeting between the teams before losing by six in overtime.
The Roughriders have been living on the edge this season. Saschetwan struggled to beat Edmonton twice and was only able to survive last week against the Elks due to an Edmonton miscue. The Roughriders’ luck will run out this week.
