Alabama Crimson Tide might be the defending national champs, but I also believe they’re going to be one of the most frustrating teams in the country for college football bettors in 2016. The Tide were just 8-7 ATS a year ago and could struggle to cover the college football betting line even more in 2016 as they likely struggle, at least early on, with a new starting quarterback and running back.

Ohio State 15/2

The Buckeyes’ uninspiring 6-7 ATS mark from last season leads me to believe that Ohio State could be one of the most frustrating teams in all of college football in 2016. The Buckeyes need to find a replacement for stupendous running back Ezekiel Elliott and could struggle to find offensive balance if they don’t. Ohio State will face some tough odds every week because of their name and status as a legit title contender, but I say use caution when betting on the Buckeyes in 2016.

Florida State 10/1

The Seminoles (10-3) compiled a solid 8-5 ATS mark last season, but with an iffy quarterback situation and some potentially overzealous expectations, I think Florid State could frustrate the hell out of college football bettors – and head coach Jimbo Fisher this coming season.

The Tigers were a modest 6-6 ATS a year ago and have some serious questions of their own at quarterback. Despite having one of college football’s true superstars in running back Leonard Fournette, the Tigers will frustrate their fans and betting backers alike in 2016.

The Wolverines were just 6-6 ATS year ago and are one of my top picks to frustrate in 2016 because of experience at the quarterback position and overly unrealistic expectations from Jim Harbaugh-loving fans and oddsmakers everywhere.

Oregon will almost assuredly face some insane game day odds in 2016 because of their past penchant for scoring the ball, seemingly at will, but I’m thinking the Ducks will frustrate bettors at some point of the season after going 7-6 ATS a year ago and entering 2016 with more question marks than they’ve had in quite some time.
