So, what are you thankful for this week? Me… I am thankful to be alive, thankful for my amazing family, thankful that I have a job to die for, but most relevantly to you; I am super thankful for the college football betting bonanza in Week 13 and the fact that I will be enjoying a full-blown slate of NCAAF odds rivalry games. Let’s Break Down our Top Week 13 NCAA Football Betting Upset Alert

Speaking of bowls and rivalries, we have plenty to share with you this Thanksgiving Weekend… From to the Iron Bowl to the Civil War, the Apple Cup to the Bedlam in Oklahoma, or even the much-awaited Notre Dame vs. Stanford showdown to the USC and UCLA Hollywood rivalry; it’s an all-you can eat buffet in this week’s online betting lines. Toss in the fierce Urban Meyer vs. Jim Harbaugh coaching duel and the increasingly popular Florida State/Florida and rivalry; you can easily understand why I’ll be allowing my lady to go shop with her girlfriends so that I can have the house all to myself… and my buddies! Anyways, whatever happens, it’s definitely going to be a hell of a week, and after the Spartans did me good by beating the overrated Buckeyes last week, I trust the following teams to follow suit by upsetting their opponents in Week 13 NCAAF Odds. That said, let’s get to it…

#4 Iowa at Nebraska

Whatever the CFP committee is smoking, it is certainly clouding their judgment. Is Iowa a top-10 team? Most Definitely. But are the Hawkeyes a top-4 team? Hell No! Good as it has been to see Iowa go 11-0 to claim the B1G Ten West title, I can count more than three games that would have easily ended in a loss for the Hawkeyes. But more notably, I don’t trust the Hawkeyes to beat the surging Cornhuskers team that has been on the upward mobility since beating Michigan State and is hell-bent on winning this game to guarantee a bowl game. If Nebraska’s defense shows up, as I believe it will, fans in Lincoln will be celebrating a big win this Friday.

#7 Baylor at #13 TCU

The manner in which Baylor showed grit and character in Oklahoma State last week was nothing short of amazing. But it is about time their playoff dreams come to an end, like most of their Big 12 compatriots. Star RB Shock Linwood is banged up and third-string sophomore QB Chris Johnson isn’t experienced enough for this type of game. If TCU QB Trevone Boykin is unavailable, then go with Johnson and to take care of business narrowly. However, if Boykin is fit, expect a shootout affair that will end in favor of the Frogs. FYI, Baylor narrowly leads the All-time series 53-50-7, including last year’s win over TCU.

#8 Ohio State at #10 Michigan

Ohio State has nothing to lose after getting embarrassed by the Spartans who are en route to claiming the divisional title, right? Wrong! Twitter went crazy earlier this week after Ezekiel Elliot and Co. acted like a bunch of sour losers, claiming they wouldn’t be returning to Ohio State next season. So bad were backlashes for Elliot and his compatriots that the star running back (read that former Heisman contender) issued a forced apology to the fans. My expectation, therefore, is that Elliot, Cardale Jones and Co. will be looking to make amends this week (while looking to impress their some future employers in the NFL) by playing their hearts out. Now, whether or not that will be enough is something that remains to be seen. From the outlook, Jim Harbaugh and Michigan have been playing real well this year, and with Harbaugh coaching his Alma Mater, he will definitely want his Wolverines to give their all like he did as a quarterback in the 1987 Rose Bowl clash against Ohio State. Also, All-time records of the rivalry indicate that Michigan has had Ohio State’s number, leading the series 58-46-6, despite the Buckeyes having won the majority of their recent meetings. Your guess is therefore as good as mine—any of the two teams can win this game. Even so, I strongly believe that trusting the Buckeyes with some left-over money from the Thanksgiving Night budget would be logically warranted.

#22 UCLA at USC

The Trojans, as you probably know by now, have won the majority of the games in this series. However, the Bruins have won the last three straight games in this rivalry and Josh Rosen is proving to be more than just a freshman on the block. So whereas it is really tempting to hang on Cody Kessler’s big arms, and you wouldn’t be penalized for doing so, history has an ominous way of repeating itself and I am counting on Jim Mora to continue with his unbeaten record against the Trojans since setting foot in Los Angeles four years ago.

#13 Florida State at #12 Florida

Like the Buckeyes, the Seminoles could soon be learning that having had good runs in 2013 and 2014 doesn’t mean squat in this thinning business of NCAA Football betting. Yes, the Seminoles have owned the Gators in recent years (winning 4 of the last 5 meetings), FSU’s D-line is talented enough and RB Dalvin Cook is having a Heisman-like season, which is likely to give the Noles some edge here. Nevertheless, the Cook and his offensive compatriots will be going against the meanest defense they’ve faced all season, something that guarantees a hard time for them in moving the chains. Meanwhile, Florida has proved just as capable of putting up points on the board like any other good SEC team, which should give the Gators a chance to hang in the game. Added to the solid home advantage for Gators, it will not be a surprise for FSU to finish this game on the losing end.

#3 Notre Dame at #15 Stanford

I know Stanford has already won the Pac-12 North title and playing in the Cardinal’s backyard calls for a lot of prayers if you need a win. Nonetheless, Stanford has already lost twice on the season (despite having most of its squad intact), yet Notre Dame has only lost once (despite losing a good number of its key pieces, including starting QB Malik Zaire). For that reason, I believe the Irish will be bringing enough Fighting to this game, which could grant them a win. My main reason, however, for picking Notre Dame for this win is that I have been selfishly routing for the Fighting Irish to bust the Power Five nonsense and make this year’s playoff interesting. So if you feel like I do, then you are most welcome to join me.
