When you are a fan of sports, you tend to have an allegiance to teams based in your city. With that in mind, you can perhaps understand why the Call of Duty League is so popular. There are 10 teams in the league, all of whom are split across North America and Europe. What makes it so cool is that teams get to host events twice per season, giving them a bit of a home field advantage. Points are amassed based on the performances each week, so there is plenty of opportunity for teams to play catchup as the season progresses. This weekend, it is the New York Subliners who will play host, with the first batch of games set to go on Friday, July 10. Let’s take a closer look at the 4 games on tap so you can make your bets against their Call of Duty odds.

Call of Duty League – New York Home Series July 10 Matches

Toronto Ultra Vs Paris Legion – 4 PM EST

These are two teams who are in some desperate need of points, so getting a win here is crucial to both. Toronto are sitting at the bottom of the table after amassing just 50 points through their first 7 events. Paris are 10 points ahead of them in the standings, but 40 of their 60 points came in the opening 2 rounds of the season. They have done little since then, so we might just see Toronto come away with the win in this one.

Chicago Huntsmen Vs London Royal Ravens – 5:30 PM EST

This is a fantastic looking matchup, as both of these teams have made very decent starts to the season. Chicago are currently sitting in 3rd at the CDL standings and have picked up the maximum 50 points in 2 different events this season. They are very much a team to be reckoned with and are in contention to land on top this season. The London Royal Ravens are sitting down in 6th and have only failed to pick up points in one event this season. A good matchup, but I am on Chicago to win.

LA Guerillas Vs Atlanta FaZe – 7 PM EST

What we have here is wat looks to be a bit of a mismatch, to put things mildly. Atlanta are the team that everyone is trying to run down at the moment, as they are at the top of the league with 230 points. They have picked up the maximum 50 points twice this season, but they are coming off a very disappointing weekend in New York, where they were blanked. The LA Guerillas are sitting tied for last in the league with just 50 points, so this might be the perfect opponent for Atlanta to get some of their swagger back. I see this as an easy win for the Haze.

Minnesota Rokkr Vs New York Subliners – 8:30 PM EST

It’s no real surprise that the host team get the primetime slot on Friday night, but can they take advantage of playing at home? It’s not going to be an easy task for sure, but the Subliners, who are currently down in 7th in the standings, have been consistent of late, picking up 20 points in each of their last 3 events. Minnesota are up in 5th, but they have cooled off a little after a good start, failing to pick up any points in their last event. I am taking New York for the home win.
