Originally known as the American Express Championship, the WGC – Cadillac Championship is set to take place at Trump National Doral in Doral Florida. This gorgeous Par 72 course is 7,506 yards and had a stroke index of 73.24 last season. It has been a regular on the PGA Tour since it first hosted the Doral Open in 1962 as online betting golf aficionados might recall. It was later known as the Ford Championship until 2006. The course has a nickname of the Blue Monster, for it’s water that’s in play on many holes.

He has plenty of strength to win this event, but it’s just his third appearance at Doral. He finished 17th and 34th. Spieth is second on the odds listed, behind Mr. McIlroy. He is listed at 10/1. Bubba Watson: Bubba could be another contender for this event, due to his ability to really kill the golf ball. He’s finished inside the Top 3, 3 out of the last 4 seasons. Watson is 12/1 to win this event. Dustin Johnson: DJ is another choice, much like Bubba, because of his ability to hit it a long way. Just like Bubba Watson, and much like Adam Scott, D.J. is listed at 12/1. Adam Scott: He has finished inside the top six in three of his last six times. He is third on the list of odds to win the event. Scott is listed at 12/1, tied with Bubba Watson and Dustin Johnson. Jason Day: Jason Day is a longshot, but it’s never idea to count him out. Day has not been able to put things together in 2016 just yet. Day, despite his struggles is still sixth on the favorite list. Jason Day is listed 13/1 to win the event. Rickie Fowler: This guy is another longshot that has the potential to get out. Fowler is coming off a poor weekend at the Honda Classic. Fowler comes into the event listed at 15/1. Other names to consider to win this event would be Henrik Stenson, J.B. Holmes, Justin Rose and Brooks Koepka. Longshot names such as Phil Mickelson and Sergio Garcia should never be completely counted out.
