Expected MLB Odds 2016 Season Win Totals

San Francisco Giants

The San Francisco Giants, surprisingly are predicted for the most wins in Major League Baseball in 216. The Giants have improved their pitching staff, which was already tremendous to begin with. The Giants will face several tough tests in the NL West, but they are listed at 90 wins for 2016.

Chicago Cubs

The Chicago Cubs come in next. They are listed at 89 wins on the season. The Cubs advanced to the National League Championship Series a season ago, and added Jason Heyward, Ben Zobrist and John Lackey. The Cubs are given 89 wins for their future bet.

New York Mets

Staying in the National League, the defending champion New York Mets come in next. The Mets have a great pitching staff, and have kept Yoenis Cespedes on the offensive side. If the Mets pitching remains healthy, look out. The Mets are listed for 88 wins in 2016.

St. Louis Cardinals

The St. Louis Cardinals come in next with 87.5 wins. The Cardinals won 100 games a season ago, but fell in the postseason to the Chicago Cubs. The Cardinals have several injury concerns coming into the season, but if they can fan a hot offensive bat, they will be a team that’s tough to beat.

More NL Teams

Three more National League teams can be had at 87 wins. Out of the National League Central, the Pittsburgh Pirates, National League East, Washington Nationals and out of the NL West, the Los Angeles Dodgers. All three of those teams are listed at 87.

Blue Jays and Royals are Tough

Out of the American League, the Toronto Blue Jays and Kansas City Royals are both next on the list. Both the Blue Jays and the Royals are listed at 87 wins for the season. Toronto’s offense is just amazing, and they can really crush the baseball. For Kansas City, they have been to the World Series two straight seasons.
