Daily 2017 MLB Over Picks & Predictions Updated (June 26th)

Written by on June 26, 2017

One of the great things about playing the OVER/UNDER in sports is that you don’t need to have a stunning winning percentage to make money. Generally speaking, you only need to win about 55% of your baseball betting picks to be in profit, and going beyond the 60% mark is usually a very good sign that you are building a very nice bankroll. We have already taken a look at some of the best looking UNDER picks for this week in major league baseball, and now it’s time to turn our attention to the MLB OVER picks. I am going to be picking out 5 games that I think may fall into the high-scoring category, and will have one game for each weekday. With a little bit of luck, and some power hitting, we should be able to cash some winning tickets over the next few days.

A Closer Look At The Daily 2017 MLB Over Picks & Predictions Updated (June 26th)

Monday – Cincinnati Reds at St. Louis Cardinals

Both of these teams are coming off weekend series where the runs piled up over the course of 3 days. The Cincinnati Reds had a 3-game series against the Washington Nationals where a total of 40 runs were scored, while the Cardinals and the Pirates had a 3-game series that delivered a total of 28 runs. These two have already played a bunch of times this season, and their last 4-game series produced a total of 37 runs. I think it’s fair to say that we might well see some fireworks in this make-up game.

Tuesday – Tampa Bay Rays at Pittsburgh Pirates

The Tampa Bay Rays have done a nice job of getting themselves back into contention in the AL East, and a big part of the reason that they have been able to do so is because of their improved offense. In their last 6 games, the Rays have racked up 40 runs, but they have also given up 32. In addition, they are a team that are very much prone to the OVER when they play on the road, posting an O/U record of 22-13-1. The Rays have seen each of their last 6 games go OVER, while the Pirates have had back to back games go OVER.

Wednesday – New York Mets at Miami Marlins

It is more the recent form of the Mets than anything that the Marlins have done that has me looking at the OVER for this one. A staggering 11 of the last 13 games that the Mets have played have gone OVER. Furthermore, you may find worth mentioning, though, that the Marlins are 22-16-1 O/U when playing at home, which creates a little bit of a perfect storm that certainly blows in favor of these games being on the high scoring side of the equation. This series would definitely be my pick of the week for those of you who love the MLB OVER picks. New York Yankees are going through a rough patch right now, so make sure to check their match's MLB over Picks here.

Thursday – New York Yankees at Chicago White Sox

I’m not going to lie, this is one that I am a little on the fence about. The New York Yankees are going through a rough patch right now, but it’s a run that I think they are going to break out of, and when it happens, I think it will be in a big way. The White Sox are not a particularly good team, and they may be just the sort of team that the Yankees need to face to get back on track. These two teams met earlier in the season, and it was a series that saw 2 of the 3 games go OVER. I think we will see some runs scored in this one.

Friday – Washington Nationals at St. Louis Cardinals

Washington have been lighting it up of late, and that has translated to a lot of their games going OVER the run total. In fact, no less than 10 of their last 13 games have gone OVER, including 2 of their last 3. They played St. Louis earlier in the season, and 2 of the 3 games in that one went the way of the OVER. The Nats are scoring for fun right now, and should pile it on against the Cards. Good luck with these MLB over picks and selections, and don’t forget that we also have some UNDER plays posted for this week in baseball.
