The teams who are leading their respective divisions will be looking to finish strong before getting a well-deserved break. That final run begins this weekend with a full slate of action, and we have you covered with some SU picks that will hopefully earn you some money before the break. Winning MLB SU Picks for the Weekend Action

Friday SU MLB Picks – Braves, Astros, Dodgers

For Friday, we are going to go with some picks that look to be a bit of a slam dunk, after which we will go looking for games that might offer some better value. The Braves come into the weekend on the heels of a loss, but they are still 7-3 in their last 10 games and now within 3 ½ of the lead in the East. They will host the Washington Nationals, who are dead last and winners of just 3 games in their last 10.

The Houston Astros have a 13-game lead in the West and are on fire right now, winning 9 of their last 10 games. They will be on the road in Oakland, who they have beaten in all 3 meetings so far this season. They should be able to make it 4 in a row.

The Dodgers and Cubs will close out their season series this weekend, with the Dodgers having already won each of the last 4 meetings. Those wins all came on the road, so you would certainly expect them to keep rolling at home.

Saturday SU MLB Picks – White Sox, Rays, Brewers

We might be taking a bit of a risk by picking the Chicago White Sox to win at home, as they are actually 7 games below .500 in their own building. That said, they have win 5 of their 7 meetings versus the Tigers this season, so let’s roll with them.

The Rays are a respectable 45-37 on the season, but they still find themselves 14 ½ games back of the Yankees in the East. They are 10-3 in interleague play this season, so they look like a very good bet against the struggling Reds.

The Brewers have the lead in the Central Division, but they are coming into this weekend on a 2-game losing skid. This is the perfect chance to snap out of it, as they are already 8-2 SU in their meetings with the Pirates this season.

Sunday SU MLB Picks – Mets, Guardians, Cardinals

The Mets are a team that look as though they could use a break, as they are just .500 in their last 10 and have seen their lead in the East cut quite dramatically. They are at home to the Marlins on Sunday and have been very good against them this season.

It was a rough start to the Guardians season series against the Royals, losing the first 2 meetings. Since then, they have won 5 in a row versus KC and have outscored them 46-16 in those outings. Should be another win here.

We close out our weekend picks with the St. Louis Cardinals hosting the Philadelphia Phillies on Sunday. The Cardinals are 2-1 in the season series, but perhaps more importantly, they are 24-16 in home games.
