The fight weekend starts on Friday night with another big event from the LFA. Set to take place in Dakota, LFA 128 has a 6-fight main card that begins at 9 PM EST on UFC Fight Pass. It’s a solid card from top to bottom, but there can be no denying that the big fight of the night is the headliner, which is for the Vacant Lightweight Championship. There is a lot of ground to cover with this event, so let’s jump right in with the current LFA odds for the main card, as well as predictions for each fight.

Sarek Shields (+120) Vs Thad Jean (-150)

We get the night rolling with a couple of Welterweight fighters who are both still very early in their pro journey. Shields has picked up wins in his first 2 pro fights, including a victory in his first bout with the LFA. Jean is also 2-0 through his first 2 fights and has yet to go beyond the first round. I think Jean will keep his win streak alive with a KO win.

Mitchell McKee (-700) Vs Jalen Jackson (+450)

The next fight up is a Bantamweight bout that features another pair of fighters new to the professional fight game. McKee turned pro and won his first fight with the LFA, getting the KO win in Round 2. Jackson lost his first pro fight in just 16 seconds and looks to be up against it here. I think McKee wins this one rather comfortably.

Bryce Meredith Vs Jay Viola

Next up is a Bantamweight bout, and again, we are looking at a couple of fighters looking to get rolling early in their careers. Meredith is off to as good a start as you can get, winning his first fight with a first-round win. Viola is 3-3 overall, but he is on a run that has seen him lose 2 in a row, including his first bout with the LFA. I think Meredith gets this one over with quickly.

Devon Dixon (+155) Vs Richie Miranda (-185)

Two up and coming fighters will be in the octagon next for a Catchweight bout. Dixon saw a 4-fight win streak come to an end last time out, with his last bout ending in a draw. Miranda has looked very good in the early part of his career, winning all 3 fights and doing so within the opening 2 rounds in each. This looks like a good one and I am going with the underdog and taking Dixon to win.

Jimmy Lawson (-580) Vs Marino Eatman (+405)

The co-main event of the night is a Heavyweight bout that will probably not end up going the distance. Lawson started his pro career with a loss, but he has bounced back to win 3 in a row. Eatman is 5-4-1, but he is heading in the wrong direction, winning just once in his last 5 fights. I like Lawson to get the quick KO in this one.

Aaron McKenzie (-125) Vs Lucas Clay (+105)

The headline event will decide who steps out of the octagon as the new LFA Lightweight Champion. McKenzie is 10-2-1 overall and is coming into this bout on the heels of a 3-fight win streak. Clay has won 4 in a row ahead of this fight and has an overall record of 8-1. I like this one to go the distance and I think McKenzie will get the decision.
