LFA 146: Barbosa Vs Santos Betting Favorites, Fights Analysis & Predictions

We have something a little different coming our way in MMA with LFA 146. Instead of a title fight headlining the main card, we have a tournament semi-final, which is essentially then next best thing. All told, there are 6 fights on what looks to be a very exciting main card in the LFA, with all the action set to begin at 9 PM EST om Friday night. You can catch all the action on UFC Fight Pass, so let’s see if we can pick some winners and you can get ready to bet against the LFA Odds.

MMA Betting Preview for LFA 146: Barbosa Vs Santos

Luana Santos Vs Waleska Sousa

The main card begins with a women’s Flyweight bout that looks pretty evenly matched. Santos saw her unbeaten run come to an end last time out, dropping to 3-1 in the process. It’s a very similar story with Sousa, who was 4-0 before taking a loss in her last bout. Both women will be looking to bounce back, but I am on Santos for the decision win.

Felipe dos Santos Vs Hugo Paiva

We have a Flyweight bout up next and a pair of fighters looking to maintain their perfect records. Dos Santos is 6-0, but just by the skin of his teeth, as he won by split decision last time out. Paiva is 5-0 and has seen 4 of those wins come inside the distance. A good one here, but I have dos Santos by decision.

Carlos Prates Vs Moacir Rocha

Next up is a Welterweight bout, with each of these fighters in very different runs of form. Prates will be coming into this one on a high after winning 4 in a row to get to 14-6. Things have not been so smooth for Rocha of late, as he is 2-2 in his last 4 fights. I like Prates to get the KO win quite comfortably.

Jean Matsumoto vs Inaildo Santos

It’s the Bantamweights heading into the octagon next, with both fighters combining for just 1 loss in their careers. Matsumoto comes in with a perfect 11-0 career mark, with 6 wins inside the distance. Santos won 8 in a row before taking his first loss, although he bounced back to win last time out. I’m taking Matsumoto by decision.

Felipe Douglas Vs Rangel de Sa

The co-main event of the night is a Lightweight bout between a pair of experienced pros. Douglas in an impressive 20-5 in his career and has won 3 in a row, as well as 4 of his last 5 fights. De Sa is sitting at 11-2 overall and is also the winner of 4 of his last 5. I like this one to go the distance, with Douglas getting the nod.

Marcio Barbosa Vs Gabriel Santos

The main event of the night is a Flyweight semi-final bout that has all the makings of a great one. Barbosa comes in with a 13-1 record, bouncing back to win his last 3 after taking his first career loss. There have been no losses for Santos, who sports an impressive 8-0 record thus far. Slight edge to Barbosa here, who I think gets the decision.
