If you are prepared to stay up a little later than usual on Friday night, then you are in for a treat. LFA 164, which has a title fight as the headliner, will take place in Texas, with the main card set to begin at 11 PM EST. We get the evening started with a Lightweight bout and a pair of fighters still very early in their pro careers. Pleasant has had just 1 fight, but he did manage to win that one inside the distance. Barzialy has a little more experience and comes into this one having won both of his pro fights, with both wins coming inside 30 seconds. I think Barzilay continues to roll, taking this one via the KO route.

Jordan Burkholder Vs Josiah Reyes

Next up on the main card is a Flyweight bout, with one of these fighters looking to maintain a perfect record. That would be Burkholder, who is 4-0, with the last 3 of those wins all coming in the opening round. Reyes started life as a pro by winning his first 3 fights, but he took a loss last time out and will be looking to bounce back here. This should be a good one, but I have Burkholder with the submission win.

Lerryan Douglas Vs Isaac Thompson

Next up is a Featherweight bout that looks like one of the easiest to predict on the night, Douglas comes in with an 8-4 record, with wins in 3 of his last 5 fights. Not bad, but he has been a bit inconsistent. Thompson started life as a pro with 2 wins before taking his first career loss. He bounced back from that to win 2 more, and I think he has a very good shot at making it 3 in a row.

Glaucio Eliziario Vs Myktybek Orolbai

This Welterweight bout is another one that appears to have been set up to help one fighter advance their career. Eliziario has been around for a minute, but he has never really been that consistent, going 10-7, while losing 3 of his last 4 fights. Orolbai is on the rise and comes into this one with a 9-1-1 record and a 4-fight win streak. He should be able to get the job done with no real difficulty.

Jalin Fuller Vs Daniel Frunza

The co-main event of the night is an intriguing Welterweight bout between two very good fighters. Fuller showed a lot of promise early on, winning 5 in a row, but he has since lost 3 of his last 6 to fall to 7-3, and he needs a win here. Frunza has been on a good run of form, winning 2 in a row and 4 of his last 5 to get to 6-2 overall. This one really could go either way, but I am taking Fuller to bounce back.

Sabina Mazo Vs Sandra Lavado

We close the night out with a battle for the Vacant LFA Flyweight Championship, and I think it’s a tough one to call. Mazo comes into this fight in a definite slump, as she has lost 3 in a row to fall to 9-4 overall. Lavado has a 12-4 record and has been slightly better than her opponent of late, winning 3 of her last 5 bouts. Despite the losing run, I think Mazo finds a way to walk away with the belt.
