ONE Championship: NextGen Betting Analysis & Predictions

If you want to load up on MMA action this weekend, you will have plenty of opportunities to do so. The only real downside is that you will need to be up and at it early if you want to watch the next ONE Championship event. The main card, which has 4 MMA fights and a pair of kickboxing bouts, is set to being at 8:30 AM on Friday morning, with the love event taking place in Singapore.Let’s now take a quick look at the 6 fights and make some predictions so you can bet against their ONE Championship odds.

MMA Betting Analysis for ONE Championship: NextGen

Beybulat Isaev Vs Bogdan Stoica

The main card begins with a kickboxing bout, with Isaev coming into this fight sitting at 1-1after a pair of pro fights. Both of those bouts ended in the opening round. Stoica is much more experienced and comes into this fight on the heels of back-to-back wins after suffering a 3-fight losing skid. I think Stoica uses his experience to get the win.

Lee Tao Miao Vs Jeremy Miado

Next up is a Flyweight bout where we have a pair of fighters looking to get back to winning ways. Miao is 6-4 overall and is on the run that has seen his lose 3 of his last 4 fights. Miado is on a win one/lose one run over his last 5 fights, going 3-2 in that time to get to 9-4 overall. I think it will be Miado who gets the win via KO.

Kirill Grishenko Vs Dustin Joynson

The next fight on the main card is a Heavyweight bout featuring a pair of fighters looking to maintain their unbeaten records. Grishenko has won each of his 4 pro fights without ever needing to go the distance. Joynson is 6-0 and has made a habit of getting the job done early, although his last fight went the distance. I think it’ll be more of the same here for Joynson.

Anderson Silva Vs Iraj Azizpour

Before we get to the co-main events, we have another kickboxing bout set to go. Silva is on a run that has seen him lose 4 of his last 5 fights, 3 of which were in kickboxing. This will be the first pro bout for Azizpour and I think he might just get started with a win.

Ritu Phogat Vs Jenelyn Olsim

The co-main event of the night is a Strawweight tournament semi-final bout between two very good fighters. Phogat comes into this one on a modest 2-fight win streak, a run that has taken her to 6-1. Olsim is on the road to recovery after going on a run where she lost 2 of 3. She has now won back-to-back fights, but I think she is going to come up short here.

Stamp Fairtex Vs Julie Mezabarba

The night ends with the second of the two Strawweight tournament semi-final bouts. Fairtex comes in on the heels of a win, which came after he first pro loss. She is now 6-1. Mezabarba is 9-2-1 overall and is on a run that has seen her win each of her last 6 fights. I think this one goes the distance, and my money is on Fairtex.
