2022 PFL Playoffs Featherweights & Women's Lightweights Betting Picks, and Fights Analysis

2022 PFL Playoffs: Featherweights & Women’s Lightweights Betting Picks, and Fights Analysis

It has been another great year of action in the PFL, and as we head into Week 9, we are reaching the end of the road for this season. This Saturday afternoon, starting at 1 PM EST, we will have the semi-final bouts in the Featherweight and Women’s Lightweight divisions ahead of the final week of action when we will have all the finals and champions will be crowned. There is a ton at stake here, so all 4 fights on the main card are of the must watch and wager variety. Before we get into making our picks for Saturday, it is worth noting that the main card sits in the middle of the overall card, wedged between the prelims and postlims, so be sure to get there on time to watch. With that being said, let’s get to it so you don’t miss you chance to bet against the PFL Lines.

MMA Betting Preview for Professional Fighter’s League Playoffs Round: Featherweights & Women’s Lightweights

Ryoji Kudo Vs Bubba Jenkins

We get the main card started with the first of the Featherweight semi-final bouts. Kudo made it into the playoffs despite losing one of his fights in the regular season. The 6 points that he picked up from winning his 2nd fight in the opening round helped his cause in a big way. Jenkins went 2-0 in the regular season, but he had to go the distance to get both wins. I think he makes it 3 in a row with a decision win here.

Larissa Pacheco Vs Olena Kolesnyk

We are getting something a little unique in the first of the Lightweight semi-finals, as this will be the 2nd meeting between these fighters. Pacheco came away with the Round 1 win over Kolesnyk in this competition in 2021 and is now on a 4-fight unbeaten streak. Kolesny has broken out of a horrid 4-fight losing skid to win 2 in a row in this competition, but I think she is onto another beating in this one, with Pacheco getting the KO win.

Chris Wade Vs Brendan Loughane

The second of the Featherweight semi-finals looks to be a beauty, with both fighters delivering the goods in the regular season. Wade had to go the distance in his opening fight of the season, but he followed that up with an opening round win last time out. Loughane also went unbeaten in his 2 fights, but he needed to go all the way in both to get here. I think this one goes the distance, with Wade getting the nod.

Kayla Harrison Vs Martina Jindrova

The second of the women’s Lightweight bout sees the tournament favorite trying to maintain her flawless pro record. Harrison has made this competition her own and comes into this bout with a 14-0 record. Jindrova looked very good in her two regular season fights, and particularly in the second, which she won in the first round. This us a much tougher battle for her, though, and I like Harrison to get the early submission for the win.
