Memphis vs Phoenix Pro Hoops Spread Guide

With all that is going on with the Golden State Warriors in the Western Conference right now, there are a few teams that have been able to put together very decent seasons by going under the radar. One of those teams are the Memphis Grizzlies, who are currently sitting in the number 5 spot in the West. They have been particularly good of late, and will look to keep their solid run going when they travel to Phoenix on Saturday. It’s not very often that I look at a game and see the potential for an easy winning ticket, but this one looks like it might just fit the bill. Allow me to break this match-up down for you, and then head on over to the NBA Pro Ball betting page and get your wager on.

How To Bet the Memphis Vs Phoenix NBA Odds, TV & Game Info

Why bet on the Memphis Grizzlies

The Grizzlies (33-23) are fairly comfortably locked into the #5 spot in the West, and it’s beginning to look as though that’s where they might end up. Making up ground on the teams ahead of them is an impossible task, and no-one behind them is really making a major move. The Grizzlies are helping their own cause by playing some very good ball right now, and they are coming into this game having won 7 of their last 10. The reason I believe them to be such a good bet in this game, though, is because they have beaten the Suns the last 8 times they have faced them, including 5 wins in a row in Phoenix. Given how the Suns are playing this season, it’s tough to bet against Memphis making it 9 straight. The Grizzlies are averaging 98.6 PPG, and are giving up 98.5 PPG.

Why bet on the Phoenix Suns

I find it impossible to come up with a reason to bet on a team that has now lost 13 straight games. The best that you can really hope for is that the Suns (14-44) can somehow find a way to keep it close enough to cover the spread. They certainly were able to do that the last time they faced the Grizzlies, as they went down 95-93 in that one. You look back at all of those 13 losses over the past few weeks, though, and you see a team that has not been very competitive. You can’t look at a single score in that run and see a game where they were able to keep things close. It really is hard to see where he next win is going to come from for this team. The Suns are averaging 100.5 PPG, and are giving up 107.6 PPG.

Expert Pick and Final Score Prediction

You may not get very great odds for a straight up win for the Grizzlies, but it looks like a pretty safe bet to me, which is great if you are simply looking to pad your bankroll a little. Memphis Grizzlies 107 Phoenix Suns 99
