With just ten games remaining in the NBA regular season, we’re heading down the stretch run. Teams are making their final push for a playoff spot, or they’re looking to get into a better playoff spot.

The Favorites

Phoenix Suns +320

What’s not to like about the Phoenix Suns? They’ve got the best record in the league, they’re the best road team in the league, and they’ve continued to win while Chris Paul has been injured.

Right now, it’s hard to pick a team that is playing better, and until someone proves that they’re better than the Suns, they’re the favorite to win the Larry O’Brien Trophy.

Brooklyn Nets +550

Now that Kevin Durant is back playing, and Kyrie Irving is available in most games, the Nets are the favorites to win the Eastern Conference.

Even though we’re not sure if and/or when we’ll see Ben Simmons in action, the Nets have built a good roster to surround Durant and Irving.

Seth Curry is the shooter that the team needed, and the Nets have serviceable bigs as well. This team will be dangerous in the playoffs.

Look Out For…..

Milwaukee Bucks +650

The Bucks have quietly climbed up the Eastern Conference standings. Now that Brook Lopez is back, the team is at full strength. Giannis Antetokounmpo, Khris Middleton, and Jrue Holiday are all playing well, and this team can guard.

We’ll see if they have enough to defend their title.

Miami Heat +1000

People continue to overlook the Heat. They’re currently sitting atop the Eastern Conference. They play great defense, and their star players are all playoff-tested.

Bam Adebayo is making strides on the offensive end of the floor, Jimmy Butler can take over a game, and Kyle Lowry is playoff-proven. We also can’t forget the scoring bursts of Tyler Herro off the bench.

Dark Horses

Boston Celtics +1400

This team is playing the best defense in the league at the right time of the season. Jayson Tatum and Jalen Brown have figured out how to play together. Marcus Smart’s toughness and tenacity are sparking this squad.

After winning nine of their last 10, the Celtics have climbed up to the fourth spot in the Eastern Conference playoff standings. If teams can’t figure out how to crack the Boston defense, they could be in trouble.

Memphis Grizzlies +2200

Ja Morant has been nearly unstoppable over the past few weeks. Even though the Grizzlies in second place in the West, many are still overlooking this squad.

Other than Morant, this team is void of star power. Desmond Bane, Dillon Brooks, and Jaren Jackson Jr. have all been helping Morant in the scoring department. Steven Adams and Jackson bring a toughness to the team, and they’re also protecting the paint on the defensive end of the floor.
