Top NBA Betting Games Of The Week (Oct. 25-27)

Written by on October 25, 2016

Fans of the Cleveland Cavaliers have had all summer to gloat about their team winning the NBA title, but now all of that chatter has to be put aside as we set about the serious business of starting a new basketball season. There were some pretty major moves made during the offseason, with a number of teams loading up to take another run at the NBA crown. There are 4 or 5 legitimate contenders atop the bookies betting odds, but can a team come out of nowhere this season and make a run that gets us all fired up? Only time will tell, so for now, let’s look ahead at the opening week schedule as we look for a few games that are just begging to be wagered on.

In Depth Analysis On The Top NBA Betting Games Of The Week (Oct. 25-27)

New York Knicks at Cleveland Cavaliers – Tuesday October 25

It’s always fun to watch the champions raise the banner at their home opener in the new season, but it’s more interesting to see how they are going to cope with life as the top dog. The Cleveland Cavaliers have what looks to be a pretty straightforward game to get things rolling, as the Knicks have been a team in turmoil for as long as anyone can remember now.

San Antonio Spurs at Golden State Warriors – Tuesday October 25

The Warriors are coming into this season with a little bit of a chip on their shoulder after tossing away the chance to repeat as champions last year. They have added Kevin Durant to an already stellar line-up, and will have a tough test against a Spurs team that nipped at their heels all season long in the Western Conference last season. Not just the game of the night, perhaps the game of the week.

Houston Rockets at LA Lakers – Wednesday October 26

A pair of teams coming off of pretty awful season last year, and both will be looking to prove something this season. The Lakers will be entering the post Kobe Bryant era, and the Rockets will be looking to get back to the team that they were a couple of seasons ago. Both may end up disappointing again, but you can’t deny that this is an intriguing match-up.

Boston Celtics at Chicago Bulls – Thursday October 27

Two of the most storied franchises in the NBA going head to head is always great to see, and it helps when you have two teams that should be part of the playoff picture come the end of the season. Neither one of these two is going to win the Eastern Conference, but they both have the ability to crack the top 4, so getting off to a fast start is imperative for both.

LA Clippers at Portland Trail Blazers – Thursday October 27

The Portland Trail Blazers figure to be a team to watch in the Western Conference this season, and they can make their intentions known by getting out the gate with a win against another one of the better teams in the West. The Clippers, and specifically Blake Griffin, will be looking to put a troubled season in the rearview over the next few months.
