L.A. Clippers (17-21) at Golden State Warriors (32-8)

  • When: Wednesday, January 10, 2018, 9:30 PM ET
  • Where: Oracle Arena, Oakland, CA
  • TV: ESPN
The Los Angeles Clippers are clearly not as good now that they don’t have the future Hall of Fame point guard Chris Paul and elite bench scorer Jamaal Crawford. L.A. enters the new week having lost six of their last 10 games and two straight including a 121-105 shellacking against the Warriors on Saturday as Steph Curry scored 45 points in just three-quarters of play. The defending champion Warriors have won eight of their last 10 and four consecutive games heading into the new week. it’s no secret anymore, the Warriors completely own the Clippers and I think both teams know it. I’m expecting Golden State to be favored by at least 10 points in this contest, but it won’t matter as they win by 15 at the very least! NBA Betting Pick: Golden State Warriors 120 – Los Angeles Clippers 105

Boston Celtics (33-10) at Philadelphia 76ers (19-19)

  • When: Thursday, January 11, 2018, 2:00 PM ET
  • Where: Wells Fargo Arena, Philadelphia, PA
  • TV: NBATV
The rebuilding Philadelphia 76ers have split their last 10 games evenly, but they enter the new week riding an impressive four-game winning streak that includes a win over the perennially-powerful San Antonio Spurs on Wednesday and a 114-78 smackdown of the Detroit Pistons on Friday night. Unfortunately, for the Sixers, they’re going to be facing a Boston Celtics team that has been on a really nice roll themselves recently. Boston has won seven of their last 10 games, including six straight heading into the new week with wins over the title -hopeful Rockets and Cavaliers along the way. Despite playing at home, the 76ers shouldn't be one of your NBA Betting Picks for this week. While Philly is well on its way back to respectability with center Joel Embiid and rookie point guard Ben Simmons leading the charge, right now, Boston is a definitely further along as far as being a legitimate title contender. Boston has beaten Philadelphia in both meetings this season with each win coming by at least eight points. The C’s are on the road in this one, but I’m expecting them to extend their winning ways against the rebuilding Sixers, although I’m thinking this one could end in a fantastic finish! NBA Betting Pick: Boston Celtics 104 – Philadelphia 76ers 101

Cleveland Cavaliers (26-13) at Indiana Pacers (20-19)

  • When: Friday, January 12, 2018, 6:00 PM ET
  • Where: Bankers Life Fieldhouse, Indianapolis, IN
  • TV: FSOH
LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers have struggled in splitting their last 10 games evenly but they enter the new week coming off a high-scoring 131-127 win over Orlando on Saturday night. Indiana has overachieved this season despite going just 4-6 over its last 10 games. The Pacers hit the new week coming off an emphatic 125-86 beatdown of the Chicago Bulls on Saturday and have won both regular-season meetings against the Cavaliers this season. However, I’m thinking that James and the Cavs know they’ve lost both meetings and want to deliver a message. Cleveland is averaging almost 20 points per game more than they were since Isaiah Thomas returned to the lineup and I believe their newfound offensive explosiveness will carry them to the road win in this matchup. NBA Betting Pick: Cleveland Cavaliers 116 – Indiana Pacers 109
