I’m expecting Golden State to be favored by at least 10 points in this contest, but it won’t matter as they win by 15 at the very least! Boston Celtics (33-10) at Philadelphia 76ers (19-19)

The rebuilding Philadelphia 76ers have split their last 10 games evenly, but they enter the new week riding an impressive four-game winning streak that includes a win over the perennially-powerful San Antonio Spurs on Wednesday and a 114-78 smackdown of the Detroit Pistons on Friday night. Unfortunately, for the Sixers, they’re going to be facing a Boston Celtics team that has been on a really nice roll themselves recently. Boston has won seven of their last 10 games, including six straight heading into the new week with wins over the title -hopeful Rockets and Cavaliers along the way. Despite playing at home, the 76ers shouldn't be one of your NBA Betting Picks for this week. While Philly is well on its way back to respectability with center Joel Embiid and rookie point guard Ben Simmons leading the charge, right now, Boston is a definitely further along as far as being a legitimate title contender. Boston has beaten Philadelphia in both meetings this season with each win coming by at least eight points. Indiana has overachieved this season despite going just 4-6 over its last 10 games. The Pacers hit the new week coming off an emphatic 125-86 beatdown of the Chicago Bulls on Saturday and have won both regular-season meetings against the Cavaliers this season. However, I’m thinking that James and the Cavs know they’ve lost both meetings and want to deliver a message. Cleveland is averaging almost 20 points per game more than they were since Isaiah Thomas returned to the lineup and I believe their newfound offensive explosiveness will carry them to the road win in this matchup.
