First of two regular-season meetings between the teams with Nevada going to Boise on March 5. Last year, they split. Boise State won at home 77-62 behind 29 points from Max Rice. Tyson Degenhart scored 15 points while going 6 of 9 and 3 of 5 from the free-throw line and adding six rebounds. Boise State took the lead with 11:31 left in the first half and did not give it up. The Rams entered the game averaging 8.5 3-pointers a game and were held to four 3-pointers. Boise State is now 8-0 when leading at halftime this season. Despite only scoring 67 points, Nevada had an efficient night on the offensive end of the court, as it completed the game with clips of 46.5 percent shooting from the field (20-43), including 46.7 percent from behind the arc (7-15).
