College Basketball Lines and Odds: Best Games in the End of Regular Season

The college basketball regular season is over, and we are now all waiting for the start of March Madness.

MyBookie College Basketball Top Games to Bet This Week | Vegas Odds NCAA Basketball Week 19

Before we get there, though, there is some business to attend to. Specifically, we have the conference tournaments coming this week, with the teams on the bubble looking at this as their last chance to go on a run that might get them into the tournament. Every team will find out their fate on Selection Sunday, so this is indeed an absolutely huge week of NCAA basketball betting that we have to look forward to. As we do every week, we are looking ahead to the games that jump off the schedule this week, keeping in mind that much of the schedule is still to be filled in as we wait for the outcome of conference tournament games earlier in the week.

San Francisco Dons Vs Gonzaga Bulldogs

Monday, March 11, 11:30 PM at ESPN+ and ESPN2 | You’ll need to stay up a little later to catch this game, but for me, it’s worth doing so. Gonzaga finished 2nd in the WCC, 3 games ahead of the Dons, who landed in 3rd. Both teams surpassed the 20-win mark this season, but that said, you do have to like the Bulldogs to come away with the win in this one. They played San Francisco just a couple of weeks ago and won that one by a score of 86-68. I have a feeling that this one might be a little closer, though, as you never can tell what might happen in tournament play.

Louisville Cardinals at NC State Wolfpack

Tuesday, March 12, 4:30 PM at ACC Digital Network | While this is certainly not the most glamorous matchup on the schedule this week, it is interesting because both teams ended the regular season on a terrible run of form. The Cardinals ended the regular season on a 7-game losing skid, and while you might think that they are sure to lose this one, too, let’s not forget that the Wolfpack ended the season on a 4-game losing skid. The Wolfpack did have 9 more wins this season than Louisville and will be the favorite here, but the way that both teams ended the season makes this one a little tougher to call.

Kansas State Wildcats Vs Texas Longhorns

Wednesday, March 13, 7:00 PM at BIG 12 and ESPN+ | Both of these teams finished lower in the Big 12 standings than they would have liked, but they both seem to be relatively evenly matched, which makes this matchup one to keep and eye on. The Wildcats finished the regular season at 18-13 and 2 games below .500 in conference play, which included a 6-point loss on the road to Texas. The Longhorns played .500 ball in conference play and 20-11 overall. That previous meeting was relatively close, and with this one in neutral territory, it might be closer still.

San Diego State Aztecs at UNLV Rebels

Thursday, March 14, 5:30 PM at CBSSN | The big guns enter play on Thursday, but they all need to wait to see how the earlier games go. We do, though, have a good one ready to go in the Mountain West Conference, with very little separating these two teams in the regular season. UNLV finished just 1 game ahead of San Diego State in the final conference standings, plus they split the two games they played against one another in the regular season. Expect a close one here.

Week 18 Top Games

We are in a bit of a transitional week in college basketball, with the final games of the regular season being played alongside a handful of conference tournament games.

2024 NCAA Basketball Lines | MyBookie Sportsbook | Week 18 NCAAB

No matter what the matchups are this week, they are all important in helping the committee make a final decision on Selection Sunday, which falls on March 17. Make no mistake about it, the results in the upcoming games are going to be incredibly important, especially for those teams still on the bubble. That said, the teams at the top also want to finish up strong, as landing a #1 seed in the final bracket makes for a somewhat easier path to the National Championship. There is a lot going on, so let’s look at the matchups we love this week to consider in your NCAAB betting plans.

Duke Blue Devils at NC State Wolfpack

Monday, March 4, 7:00 PM at ESPN | Duke comes into the final week of the regular season with a shot at winning the ACC regular season crown, but they need to win out to do so. It all begins with a Monday night road trip to face NC State who, at 17-12, are not going to be any type of pushover. The Blue Devils have won 4 of their last 5 overall, which the Wolfpack has struggled coming down the stretch, as they come into this week on the heels of a 2-game losing skid, as well as losing 3 of their last 4. Can the Blue Devils take advantage of a wounded animal, or does the Wolfpack still have some bite?

Purdue Boilermakers at Illinois Fighting Illini

Tuesday, March 5, 7:00 PM at Peacock | There are a few games we could have chosen from the Tuesday night schedule, but this is the one that stood out the most for me. Purdue has the lead in the Big Ten Conference, with Illinois sitting 2 games back, so a win here for Purdue closes the door on any kind of last second comeback from Illinois. Both teams have won 3 in a row and 4 of their last 5 games ahead of this one, so both are very much in form. Purdue still wants that #1 seed overall, and a win here might well help their cause.

Tennessee Volunteers at South Carolina Gamecocks

Wednesday, March 6, 7:00 PM at ESPN2 | We have a huge SEC battle set to go on Wednesday night, with the regular season conference crown still very much up for grabs. Tennessee has the lead heading into this week, but they are just a game up on the Gamecocks. With a win on Wednesday night, the Vols would clinch the regular season title, but the Gamecocks can make things very interesting indeed if they can use their home court advantage to knock off the top team in the conference. This is the definition of a must watch game.

Arizona Wildcats at UCLA Bruins

Thursday, March 7, 9:30 PM at ESPN | It’s a quiet night in terms of big games on Thursday, with much of the schedule waiting to be filled in pending the outcome of the conference tournament games taking place earlier in the week. This matchup sticks out, though, as it is the game that can see Arizona clinch the regular season PAC 12 championship. This is a game that you would certainly like them to go out and win against a team sitting below .500, but a road trip for a high-pressure game is far from a slam dunk.

Week 17 Top Games

Hard as it may seem to believe, we are entering the final week of the college basketball regular season.

2024 NCAA Basketball Betting MyBookie Sportsbook Week 17 NCAAB

This will be followed by the conference tournaments, after which the official March Madness bracket will come together. Outside of the tournament itself, the next 2 weeks are the biggest of the season, as this is when teams that are on the bubble will make a final push that they hope will be enough to get them to the dance. It’s going to be an exciting race to the finish line, but all we are focusing on at the moment are the games coming this week, most notably the ones that look the most appealing to us from both a viewing and NCAAB betting standpoint, so let’s get to it.

Miami Hurricanes at UNC Tar Heels

Monday, February 26, 7:00 PM at ESPN | It has been a nightmare few weeks for the Miami Hurricanes, who come into this week on a 6-game losing skid. They have gone from the bubble to drowning underwater and could well see that losing skid extended on Monday night with a trip to Chapel Hill to face the UNC Tar Heels. In fairness, the Tar Heels hit a little bump in the road recently, but they appear to have things corrected and have won each of their last 2 games, which should keep them ranked in the top 10. UNC is looking to win the ACC regular season crown and can help their chances with a win here.

BYU Cougars at Kansas Jayhawks

Tuesday, February 27, 8:00 PM at BIG12, ESPN+ | The Cougars were in the top 25 by the skin of their teeth last week, but after losing over the weekend, there is a chance they might drop out this week. The best way to get back in is to get a big win over a top team, which they could potentially do on Tuesday night when they hit the road to face the Kansas Jayhawks. Kansas has stumbled a little of late, losing 2 of their last 5 games, although they have won 2 in a row, so their top 10 status should remain intact. A good Big 12 matchup here.

Auburn Tigers at Tennessee Volunteers

Wednesday, February 28, 7:00 PM at ESPN2 | We are used to the SEC being strong on the football field, but this year, we are seeing them perform well on the hard court, too. The regular season conference crown is still very much up for grabs, with both of these teams in the hunt to win it. Auburn is 21-6 overall and 10-4 in conference play, which leaves them a game out of the top spot in the SEC. Tennessee is the team they are trying to catch, as they are on top with an 11-3 record in conference play. This one will go a long way to helping decide who wins the regular season title.

St. Mary’s Gaels at Pepperdine Waves

Thursday, February 29, 11:00 PM at CBSSN | Things tend to be a little quieter on Thursday’s, with very few ranked teams playing ahead of the weekend. We do have one ranked team in action, with St. Mary’s hitting the road to face Pepperdine on Thursday night. The Gaels are looking to maintain their perfect conference record, which currently sits at 14-0, and a win here might well lock up the regular season title, if they haven’t already done so earlier in the week. The Waves have won 3 of their last 5, so they might be a tougher out on their home court.

Week 16 Top Games

As we head into another new week in college basketball, it’s fair to say that it’s going to be interesting to see how the National Rankings look when they are released later on Monday afternoon. 2024 NCAA Basketball Betting MyBookie Sportsbook Week 16 NCAAB

Purdue, who were sitting in the #2 spot last week, closed things out with a surprising loss at the hands of Ohio State, so they are almost certainly going to drop a few spots this week, opening the door for UConn to be a little more comfortable at the top. We are really now getting into the final push for March Madness, so many of the games on the schedule this week are going to be huge, so let’s look ahead at the NCAAB games that are jumping off the schedule for us this week.

Iowa State Cyclones at Houston Cougars

Monday, February 19, 9:00 PM at ESPN | This is the game that could potentially decide who wins the Big 12 regular season crown, as these teams are currently sitting at the top with the same 9-3 conference record. The Cyclones are on the rise right now, winning 4 in a row and moving into the top 10 in the National Rankings. The Cougars are sitting #3 overall at the moment, but with the Purdue loss over the weekend, they might be about to move up a spot. That move will be temporary if they can’t win what is a very tough game on Monday night.

UConn Huskies at Creighton Bluejays

Tuesday, February 20, 8:30 PM at FS1 | Given how things have gone over the last couple of weeks, it would not be that surprising to see some more changes at the top before the regular season is done and dusted. UConn has the #1 seed right now, but they have a tough start to the new week with a trip to Creighton to face the Bluejays, who are on a 3-game winning streak after experiencing a bit of a rough patch. The Huskies seem to have the regular season conference title all but wrapped up now, but they know they cannot take their foot off the gas if they want to finish the season as the #1 team in the nation.

Duke Blue Devils at Miami Hurricanes

Wednesday, February 21, 7:00 PM at ESPN | This is absolutely a game that you would expect Duke to win as they look to continue climbing up the rankings. They have won 4 in a row to move to 20-5 on the season, which should see them move up from the #9 spot they ended in last week. The Blue Devils are still a half game out of the lead in the conference and will like their chances against a Miami team that is in a deep hole at the moment after losing each of their last 4 games. They are not anywhere near as bad as that run suggests, though, and will be a tough out at home.

Rutgers Scarlet Knights at Purdue Boilermakers

Thursday, February 22, 7:00 PM at FS1 | You don’t really get to know how good a team is until they need to face some level of adversity. Things have looked pretty easy for the Boilermakers for the majority of the season, but they are now going to need to dig deep and bounce back from a truly surprising loss to Ohio State over the weekend. Rutgers is just 6-8 in conference play, but they are in good form at the moment, winning 4 of their last 5, so they will be heading into this one as a confident bunch.

Week 15 Top Games

With the Super Bowl now over and out of the way, bettors are starting to turn their attention to college basketball, as the official end of the NFL season comes at a point when the NCAAB regular season is winding down. 2024 NCAA Basketball Betting MyBookie Sportsbook Week 15 NCAAB

This is when we all start to seriously think about March Madness and the teams currently sitting on the bubble. The final weeks of the season are going to be frantic, but even then, the conference tournaments are often where March Madness hopes thrive or die. There is a lot of basketball to be played before we get to see the final tournament bracket, but for now, we are simply looking ahead to the next few days and the NCAAB games that stand out on the schedule to bet on, so let’s take a look.

Kansas Jayhawks at Texas Tech Red Raiders

Monday, February 12, 9:00 PM at ESPN | Both of these teams ended last week ranked in the top 25, but it will be interesting to see where they land when the new rankings are released later on Monday. The Jayhawks were in the #4 spot, but they had a loss last week that might drop them down a spot or two. That loss hurts their chances of winning the regular season conference crown, so they need a win in this one. The Red Raiders snapped out of a 3-game losing skid with a win over the weekend, but their top 25 ranking is in doubt. A very big game for both teams as they look to finish strong.

North Carolina Tar Heels at Syracuse Orange

Tuesday, February 13, 7:00 PM at ESPN | In the grand scheme of things, the UNC Tar Heels are in good shape, but their recent form is something that needs to be addressed. They are on a run that has seen them go 2-2 in their last 4 games, and while they are still sitting atop the ACC standings, the lead is a little tighter than they would like. This game represents an opportunity to get back to winning ways, with Syracuse struggling of late, losing 2 of their last 4. Neither team has looked convincing over the last couple of weeks, and both could use a win.

South Carolina Gamecocks at Auburn Tigers

Wednesday, February 14, 8:30 PM at SEC Network | The SEC may be better known for football than basketball, but this is a conference that has been fun to watch and wager on this season. The Gamecocks have the conference lead right now, going 9-2 in the SEC, but things are tight at the top, with Auburn sitting just a game back of the top spot. The Gamecocks have been rolling and head into the new week on a 7-game winning streak, while the Tigers will be looking to bounce back from a loss to close out the weekend. This is an absolutely massive game for both teams.

Temple Owls at FAU Owls

Thursday, February 15, 7:00 PM at ESPN2 | As always, Thursday is a slow day in terms of seeing ranked teams on the schedule. We do have one ser to play, though, with FAU looking to keep the pressure on USF at the top of the AAC. The Owls are coming off a win over Wichita State, but they needed OT to avoid losing their 2nd straight game. This is a game that FAU should easily win over a struggling Temple team, but you do have to say that Florida Atlantic has not been totally convincing of late.

Top Games to Bet on This Week: The end of the regular season and the start of the conference tournaments is very much on the horizon in college basketball. 2024 NCAA Basketball Betting MyBookie Sportsbook Week 14 NCAAB

We are at the stage of the season where teams still in the March Madness picture make a final push to try and get themselves the best seeding heading into the tournament. Games at this time of the year somehow feel bigger and more important, which makes things fun for bettors looking to build their bankroll ahead of the craziness that is March Madness. We will continue to talk about and preview the potential brackets and matchups in the tournament, but for now, let’s simply focus on the games coming this week. Let’s look ahead and pick out the NCAAB games that are catching our attention this week.

Kansas Jayhawks at Kansas State Wildcats

Monday, February 5, 9:00 PM at ESPN | After a bit of a stumble of late, the Jayhawks are back in business after winning 2 games in a row, moving to 18-4 overall and 6-3 in the Big 12 Conference. A trip to face their rivals, the Kansas State Wildcats, is not an easy one, even though the Wildcats are on a run that has seen them lose 4 in a row, moving to 4-5 in conference play in the process. The Jayhawks have a tough final stretch ahead of them, with 6 games in their final 9 coming against teams that are currently ranked. A win here would extend their win streak to 3 and better prepare them for the tough battles still to come.

Texas Tech Red Raiders at Baylor Bears

Tuesday, February 6, 9:00 PM at ESPN | We stick with the Big 12 Conference for another huge matchup on Tuesday night. Both of these teams have not been at their best of late, and both could really use a win in this one. The Red Raiders are coming off a rough week, losing 2 in a row to fall to 16-5 overall and 5-3 in conference play. The Bears have the same 16-5 record are Texas Tech, but they are in a bit better shape after winning 2 in a row. The conference title is still very much up for grabs, with the winner of this one putting themselves in prime position to win it.

Alabama Crimson Tide at Auburn Tigers

Wednesday, February 7, 7:00 PM at ESPN2 | This is one of the biggest rivalry games in college sports, and these two will hit the hard court on Wednesday night, with both still looking to win the SEC regular season title. The Crimson Tide have the lead in the SEC with an 8-1 record in conference play, which has them at 16-6 overall. They are on a solid run of form, winning 4 in a row, including a victory over the Tigers a couple of weeks ago. The Tigers are 7-2 in conference play and are winners of 2 in a row. This one is absolutely huge for a number of reasons.

Arizona Wildcats at Utah Utes

Thursday, February 8, 8:00 PM at PAC 12 Networks | It’s slim pickings on Thursday night, with just 1 ranked team set to play. That would be the Arizona Wildcats, who will hit the road to face the Utah Utes. Arizona has the lead in the PAC 12, sitting at 8-3 in conference play and 17-5 overall. They come into this one having won 3 in a row and 4 of their last 5. The Utes snapped out of a 2-game losing skid with a win over the weekend and will be looking to get back on track with another win. They are 15-7 overall, but they have had a rough go of it in conference play, going 6-5 against the PAC 12.

Week 13 Top Games

Top Games to Bet on This Week: This week will see the calendar flip over into the month of February, which has to be exciting for college basketball fans anxiously awaiting the start of March Madness. 2024 NCAA Basketball Betting MyBookie Sportsbook Week 13 NCAAB

It’s a fun time to start talking about brackets and the tournament as a whole, but there is still a lot of basketball to be played between now and the start of March Madness. There is also the business of the conference tournaments and figuring out which bubble teams are in, and which will miss out. There is a lot to figure out over the next few weeks, so for now, we are taking it one week at a time. With that in mind, let’s take a quick look at the betting analysis of the college basketball games we like the look of over the next few days.

Houston Cougars at Texas Longhorns

Monday, January 29, 9:00 PM at ESPN | Who doesn’t love an in-state rivalry game? That is what we are getting on Monday night, with the Houston Cougars making the short Texas trip to face the Longhorns in what should be an entertaining game. Houston started last week in the #4 spot in the National Rankings and had another perfect week, extending their current win streak to 4 games, while improving their overall record to 18-2. The Longhorns are 15-6 overall, but they have been struggling of late and have lost 3 of 5. What better way to snap out of that than with a home win over a big rival, but will that happen?

South Carolina Gamecocks at Tennessee Volunteers

Tuesday, January 30, 6:30 PM at SEC Network | We have a big SEC matchup coming our way on Tuesday night, with both of these teams still in position to win the regular season conference crown. The Gamecocks are an impressive 17-3 overall, but they need this one to stay in touch at the top of the SEC. They are 5-2 in conference play, which leaves them a single game out of the lead. They have won 3 in a row, but they may have a tough time against Tennessee, a team that has won each of their last 4 to move to 15-4 overall and within a half game of the SEC lead.

Northwestern Wildcats at Purdue Boilermakers

Wednesday, January 31, 6:30 PM at BTN | Both of these teams figure to be in the tournament, but for now, it’s all about winning and finishing as strong as possible. The Wildcats are sitting at 15-5 overall and have won 2 in a row, but they also have a couple of losses over their last 5 games, which leaves them at 6-3 in conference play. As good as Purdue has been this season, they have had to settle for the #2 spots in the National Rankings, as well as in their conference. The Boilermakers are on a 5-game streak as they look to steal back the #1 spot across the board.

Wisconsin Badgers at Nebraska Cornhuskers

Thursday, February 1, 8:30 PM at BTN | We don’t have a lot of ranked teams playing on the Thursday night schedule, but we do have a very good game to look forward to. The Badgers started last week ranked at #13 in the nation and are on the rise, winning 3 in a row ahead of the new week. Their current run means that they are now 8-1 in Big Ten play, good enough for the lead in the conference. This is a tricky road trip, though, even with the Cornhuskers playing .500 ball in the Big Ten. A road trip to face a conference rival is never an easy win.

Week 12 Top Games

Top Games to Bet on This Week: Another week of college basketball action is in the books, and as we draw ever closer to the calendar flipping over to February, teams must be starting to think about their current standing and how it translates to a spot in the tournament. 2024 NCAA Basketball Betting MyBookie Sportsbook Week 12 NCAAB

With each passing week, March Madness draws a little closer, which is not great news for the teams who are on the bubble at the moment. The good news is that there is still time to get on a positive run of form that will open up the door to the tournament, but teams that are on the bubble really need to get moving now. We are not looking that far ahead, though, as our focus here is on the games coming this week, so let’s take a look at the best of the bunch to consider in your NCAAB betting plans.

Wake Forest Demon Deacons at UNC Tar Heels

Monday, January 22, 7:00 PM at ESPN | As it stands at the moment, it is the Tar Heels who are in total control of the ACC regular season standings, but that could change if they cannot get the job done on Monday night. The Demon Deacons, who are 13-5 overall, are 5-2 in conference play and still very much in the hunt for the regular season conference championship, although that dream would likely come to an end with a loss to UNC, who are a perfect 7-0 in conference play. The Tar Heels are on a run of 8 straight wins and have what looks to be a pretty manageable schedule the rest of the way. A win here would go a long way to ensuring that they win the ACC regular season crown.

Houston Cougars at BYU Cougars

Tuesday, January 23, 9:00 PM at BIG12, ESPN+ | Both of these teams are ranked, at least for the moment, but both are also in a rough patch of form over their last 5 games. Houston did bounce back nicely last week after losing 2 in a row, winning both of their games to move to 16-2 overall. That leaves them as 3-2 in conference play, which means they are still in with a shot at the top spot. BYU started last week at #20, but another loss to close the week out will have their top 25 status in doubt. They have now lost 3 of their last 5 and really need a win in this one.

Auburn Tigers at Alabama Crimson Tide

Wednesday, January 24, 7:30 PM at ESPN | It’s always great when we get a pair of rivals going head-to-head, which is exactly what we are getting with this matchup. This is also a crucial matchup in terms of the conference, as things are tight at the top in the SEC, Auburn has the lead right now, going unbeaten at 5-0 in conference play to get to 16-2 overall. Alabama took their first conference loss over the weekend falling to 4-1 in the SEC, so they need this one to stay in touch with the leaders.

Arizona Wildcats at Oregon State Beavers

Thursday, January 25, 11:00 PM at PAC 12 | This is a game that you would certainly expect Arizona to win, but it’s never easy to go on the road and beat a conference rival. The Wildcats are 14-4 overall and 5-2 in conference play. The PAC 12 is tight right now, with 3 teams all sitting on the same 5-2 record at the top, so the Wildcats cannot afford to slip here. The Beavers are 9-9 overall and have struggled mightily in conference play, going just 1-6.

Week 11 Top Games

Top Games to Bet on This Week: The sports week gets started a little early on Monday, what with it being a national holiday in the US. 2024 NCAA Basketball Betting MyBookie Sportsbook Week 11 NCAAB

There are games spread out all across the day, which is great news for those of you that have the day off work and who want to lounge around on the couch watching sports and hopefully cashing some winning tickets. Rather than just focusing on the holiday Monday schedule, though, we are looking ahead to the entire week to find some games that we think will be worth watching and wagering on, although we will be kicking things off with a game from the Monday schedule. Well, enough of the chatter, let’s get to the college basketball betting games that we like this week.

Villanova Wildcats at Marquette Golden Eagles

Monday, January 15, 2:30 PM at FOX | We get things started with a Big East Conference matchup that is essentially a must win for the Golden Eagles at this point. They have seen the wheels come off in a big way in conference play, going 2-3 in the Big East through their first 5 games. That has dropped them to 11-5 overall and out of the rankings. They closed out last week by losing 2 in a row and things might be about to get even worse with Villanova coming to town. The Wildcats have the same 11-5 record, but they have won 4 of their last 5 and are 4-1 in conference play.

Purdue Boilermakers at Indiana Hoosiers

Tuesday, January 16, 7:00 PM at Peacock | The #1 team in the nation, at least for now, hit the road for a tough matchup on Tuesday night, as they get set to do battle with the Indiana Hoosiers. Purdue started last week as the top team, but they lost on the road to Nebraska, which could put their #1 status in doubt when the new rankings come out later today. Purdue is 4-2 in conference play, which is the same record as the Hoosiers, who are 11-5 overall. They are on a bit of a wobbly run of form at the moment, going 3-2 in their last 5, so even with home court advantage, they still look a little fragile.

Creighton Bluejays at UConn Huskies

Wednesday, January 17, 7:00 PM at FS1 | This is a massive game in the quest for a Big East regular season championship, with both of these teams very much in the conversation. It is UConn that holds the lead in the conference with a 5-1 record after winning 5 in a row to close out last week. That said, things are still very tight at the top and could get tighter still if the Bluejays can go in and get a big road win. They are certainly playing well enough, winning 4 in a row to take their conference record to 4-2. This is essentially a must win for Creighton.

USF Bulls at Memphis Tigers

Thursday, January 18, 7:00 PM | While it’s certainly a busy schedule on Thursday night, there are not a ton of matchups that jump off the page, largely because there are not too many ranked teams playing on Thursday. The Memphis Tigers are one of the few, and they come into this one looking to keep their unbeaten (4-0) start to conference play alive and well, while also looking to extend their 10-game win streak. The Bulls are 9-5 overall, but they have been solid of late, winning 4 of their last 5 games, and they are at 2-1 in conference play.

Week 10 Top Games

We are at the stage of the season in college basketball where we tend to see the cream rise to the top and the pretenders begin to fall. 2024 NCAA Basketball Betting MyBookie Sportsbook Week 10 NCAAB

It’s all well and good to get through the first few months looking good against lesser opposition, but as soon as we get into the heart of the conference schedules, that is where things begin to take a turn. As we do at this time every week, we are going to look ahead at the upcoming NCAAB schedule to pick out the games that we consider to be must watch and wager. There will be no picks for Monday night, as nothing really jumps out, but we have some big ones coming our way in the remainder of the week, so let’s get to it.

#12 BYU Cougars at #18 Baylor Bears

Tuesday, January 9, 9:00 PM at BIG12 and ESPN+ | While it’s still very early in Big 12 Conference play, this is almost a must win for BYU. They are an impressive 12-2 this season, but one of those losses came over the weekend against Cincinnati, which was the first conference game for each team. Going into an 0-2 hole in conference play would make it very hard for BYU to get to the top. On the flipside, the Baylor Bears have the same 12-2 record as their opponent, but they were able to win their Big 12 opener, although they needed OT to get past Oklahoma State in what was a thrilling game of basketball. This is huge for both teams, making it a game definitely worth watching and wagering on.

#5 Tennessee Volunteers at Mississippi State Bulldogs

Wednesday, January 10, 7:00 PM at SEC Network | We switch to the SEC for the next game that we really like this week, with Tennessee looking to maintain their top 5 ranking in the nation. They are 11-3 on the season and saw their conference schedule get off to a winning start with a 90-64 hammering of Ole Miss over the weekend. This one figures to be a good deal tougher for the Volunteers, though. The Bulldogs are also 11-3 this season, but they saw their conference schedule get out to a rough start with a loss to the South Carolina Gamecocks. It goes without saying that they need to win this one if they want to remain in the conversation to be the regular season conference champs.

#17 Florida Atlantic Owls at Tulane Green Wave

Thursday, January 11, 7:00 PM at ESPN 2 | These two teams are very similar in a lot of ways, from their overall record to the start that they have made in conference play in the AAC. The Owls come into this week sitting at 11-4 overall, but they have stumbled of late, losing 2 of their last 3 games, one of which was a conference game, which means they are now 1-1 in the AAC standings. It is much the same story for Tulane, who start this week sitting at 10-4 on the season. They are going to need to find a way to bounce back from a heavy defeat at the hands of UNT, a loss that dropped them to 1-1 in the conference. Both teams need this game in the worst way possible, as the road to the top of the conference standings gets a good deal tough without it.

Week 9 Top Games

As the calendar flips over into the New Year, we can expect to see things get a little more intense in the world of college basketball. 2024 NCAA Basketball Betting MyBookie Sportsbook Week 9 NCAAB

For the most part, the so-called easy games are becoming a thing of the past for the top teams, with the conference games now about to start coming thick and fast. This is usually where teams rise and fall, with some almost certainly about to build some momentum that will carry them through to March and the start of the tournament. For many more, the struggle to stay relevant and become a part of March Madness starts today, so let’s look ahead to the next few days to see if we can pick out some NCAAB games to watch and wager on.

UT Arlington Mavericks at Texas Longhorns

Monday, January 1, 2:00 PM at ESPN+ | This is a matchup that we might ordinarily skip, but there really is not that much happening on New Year’s Day, and this is the only game featuring a ranked team. The Mavericks are 6-5 this season, but all 5 of those losses have come on the road, where they are currently winless. The Longhorns might well move up the rankings a little from their current #21 spot after extending their winning streak to 4 games, taking them to a very respectable 10-2 this season. This should be a comfortable win for the Longhorns, with the point spread being the challenge in this matchup.

Purdue Boilermakers at Maryland Terrapins

Tuesday, January 2, 7:00 PM at ESPNU | We don’t need to wait long this week to get our next look at the #1 ranked team in the nation, with the Purdue Boilermakers hitting the road on Tuesday night for a tough game in Maryland versus the Terrapins. The Boilermakers are continuing to roll and now sit at 12-1 this season, although that lone loss did come in conference play. The Terrapins have the same 1-1 record as the opponent in the Big Ten and are 9-4 overall. This will be a stern test for the top team in the nation.

Clemson Tigers at Miami Hurricanes

Wednesday, January 3, 8:00 PM at ESPN | As we mentioned at the top of this piece, we are about to get into the heart of conference play, and we have a very good ACC matchup coming our way on Wednesday night. Clemson takes to the road with an 11-1 record, which includes a win in their lone conference game to this point. The Hurricanes are almost certainly knocking on the door of the top 25 after winning 3 in a row to move to 10-2 this season. They, too, have won their long conference game to this point, so the winner of this one gets a bit of a leg up in the race for ACC supremacy.

Memphis Tigers at Tulsa Golden Hurricane

Thursday, January 4, 8:00 PM at ESPN+ | Thursdays tend to be a little quieter in terms of ranked teams playing, but we have a few of them in action this Thursday night. The pick of the bunch for me is in the AAC, where we have Memphis hitting the road to face Tulsa in the first conference game for both teams this season. The Tigers are 11-2 and on a bit of a roll after winning each of their last 6 games, but this is by no means a slam dunk. Tulsa is 9-3 this season and have bounced back nicely from their last defeat to win 4 in a row.

Week 8 Top Games

Top Games to Bet on This Week: While some sports seem to embrace the holiday season, others shut down for a few days over the Christmas holidays. 2023 NCAA Basketball Betting MyBookie Sportsbook | Regular Season: November 6, 2023, to March 17, 2024 | Week 8 NCAAB

That is the case with college basketball, with no games until Wednesday of this week, and even then, there are only 2 on the schedule when the action does return. With that in mind, we need to get a little creative with the games we choose to focus on this week. We will be jumping ahead to the weekend to pick out our must bet games for the week, with the good news being that there are certainly more games to choose from starting on Thursday, so let’s dive in and see what’s on the schedule.

USC Trojans at Oregon Ducks

Thursday, December 28, 9:00 PM at ESPN | The PAC-12 may be in total turmoil in college football, but on the hard court, we are still rolling with that conference for now. The conference games get started this week in the PAC-12, starting with USC hitting the road to ace the Oregon Ducks. The Trojans are 6-5 this season and closed out last week with a win, ending a 3-game losing streak in the process. Oregon is currently sitting at 8-3 and has won 4 of their last 5 games. They are expected to be one of the favorites to win the conference, so they will be looking to get out to a fast start in their own building.

#4 Arizona Wildcats at California Golden Bears

Friday, December 29, 11:00 PM at ESPN2 | A couple of weeks ago, you might well have penciled this in as a pretty straightforward win for Arizona, but the Wildcats are going through a bit of a rough patch at the moment. They are 9-2 this season, but both of those losses have come in the last 3 games, with a n OT loss to FAU how the Wildcats closed out last week. It will be interesting to see how they bounce back in what could well be a tricky road game. The Golden Bears have not been great this season and are sitting at 4-7 after losing 3 of their last 5, although they did close out last week with a win.

#22 Creighton Bluejays at #10 Marquette Golden Eagles

Saturday, December 30, 2:00 PM at CBS | Both of these teams are off to a very solid start this season, but both have struggled in their opening games in the Big East, making this a must win game for each of them. Creighton is 9-3 overall, but they have also lost 2 of their last 3 games, one of which came in a conference matchup against Villanova. It is much the same story for Marquette, who lost to Providence last week to fall to 1-1 in conference play, although still 10-3 overall. This is a must win game for both teams if they are to go on and win the conference.

Virginia Cavaliers at Notre Dame Fighting Irish

Saturday, December 30, 12:00 PM at ACC | It’s always fun to watch how a good team reacts to a loss, which is what we will be looking at this Saturday with the Virginia Cavaliers. They saw their record fall to 9-2 after closing out last week with a bit of a blowout loss to Memphis. They now have to go on the road to face a Notre Dame team that is sure to be feeling a whole lot better about themselves after snapping a 3-game losing skid with a win last weekend.

Week 7 Top Games

Top Games to Bet on This Week: As Christmas Day approaches and the winter gets colder, the college basketball action is at the point of the season where things really begin to heat up. 2023 NCAA Basketball Betting MyBookie Sportsbook | Regular Season: November 6, 2023, to March 17, 2024

We have another big week of games coming our way, which means that it’s time to try and narrow the massive list down to a handful of games that we really like the look of this week. Some matchups will feature ranked teams, while others, such as the one we have for Monday night, will be between schools that you might not ordinarily wager on regularly. With all that said, let’s get to the college basketball games we like this week to consider in your NCAAB betting.

Bradley Braves at Duquesne Dukes

Monday, December 18, 7:00 PM | It’s a busy schedule on Monday night, but it’s a strange one given that there are no ranked teams taking part. We went through the schedule and picked out this game, which the bookies believe will be a close one, with the Dukes in as a 4-point home favorite. They are coming into the new week on a 3-game win streak that has taken them to 7-2 on the season. Bradley is 6-4 this season, but they have lost 4 in a row after jumping out to a 6-0 start. Can they bring that streak to an end.

Florida Gators at Michigan Wolverines

Tuesday, December 19, 7:00 PM at ESPN | Both of these teams are better known for their exploits on the football field, but this is still one of the better matchups on the Tuesday night slate. The Gators are a very respectable 7-3 this season and come into this week on a 3-game win streak. They will have their hands full with the Wolverines, who are 6-4 on the season and winners of 2 in a row after snapping out of a losing slump.

#10 Baylor Bears at #21 Duke Blue Devils

Wednesday, December 20, 7:00 PM at ESPN | This might actually be one of the best matchups of the week, with both teams ranked in the top 25. Baylor were sitting at #6 last week, but they will almost certainly drop in the rankings this week after losing to Michigan State, their first loss of the season, over the weekend. After a 2-game losing skid, the Blue Devils are back in business, winning 2 in a row to close out last week. This should be a fun one to watch and wager on.

#9 Kentucky Wildcats at Louisville Cardinals

Thursday, December 21, 6:00 PM at ESPN | What better game to choose on Thursday night than a big in-state rivalry matchup? This looks to be a bit of a lopsided affair, with the Wildcats sure to be the big favorite in this one, but you never can tell what might happen in a rivalry game. Kentucky is 8-2 this season, but this will be their first true road game, so definitely a test against the 6-5 Cardinals, who are 5-2 in their own building.

#13 Illinois Fighting Illini at Missouri Tigers

Friday, December 22, 9:00 PM at FS1 | We close out our preview of must bet college basketball games for the week with this matchup on Friday night. Illinois fell to 8-2 after a loss to Tennessee last week, although they did bounce back with a win to close things out. Missouri will be looking to bounce back after a tough week that saw them lose back-to-back games and fall to 7-4 overall. This is another one that could be a tight battle.

Week 6 Top Games

Top Games to Bet on This Week: Monday represents the start of a new week in the college basketball season, and while we all wait for the new rankings to be released, we can look ahead at the coming week to start picking out the games that we want to wager on over the next few days. 2023 NCAA Basketball Betting MyBookie Sportsbook | Regular Season: November 6, 2023, to March 17, 2024 | Week 6 NCAAB

As you are probably all aware, this can be a difficult task given the number of games on the schedule in any given week. We are getting close to the point when the conference games really start to kick in and the pressure intensifies, and while many of the games that we are getting now pits the best teams against lesser opponents, there are always still games that stand out when you go through the schedule. Let’s take a quick look at those games for the coming week to consider in your NCAAB betting.

Mississippi Valley State Delta Devils at Gonzaga Bulldogs

Monday, December 11, 9:00 PM at ESPN+ | It’s a pretty quiet night on Monday, with just one ranked team set to take the court. That would be the Gonzaga Bulldogs, who ended last week as the #7 team in the nation. After a loss to Washington to close out the week, they are almost certainly going to slide down the new rankings, so they will be looking to bounce back on Monday when they host Mississippi Valley State. The Delta Devils are winless this season, so the bet here is trying to figure out how the spread will play out.

Hofstra Pride at Duke Blue Devils

Tuesday, December 12, 7:00 PM at ESPN2 | Both of these teams come into the new week in need of a win. Hofstra saw a positive run of form come to an end over the weekend with a loss that dropped them to 6-3. Duke closed out last week with a win, snapping a 2-game losing streak in the process. They are also now 6-3 on the season, but they have been money at home, going 5-1 to this point in the season. Hofstra has not been great on the road, going 1-2 in 3 road games.

Creighton Bluejays at UNLV Rebels

Wednesday, December 13, 9:00 PM at CBSSN | Given the current state of both teams, this is a game that you would certainly expect Creighton to win rather comfortably, but road games aren’t always as comfy as you might hope. Creighton has bounced back nicely after taking their first loss of the season, winning 3 in a row since that defeat to get to 8-1 this season. The Rebels have seen their season go off the rails over the last couple of weeks, losing 3 of their last 4 games to fall to 3-4 overall. Can they get out of that slump and get the unexpected win here?

Jacksonville State Gamecocks at Wisconsin Badgers

Thursday, December 14, 8:00 PM at BTN | This is another situation where we have a ranked team looking to bounce back in the new week of action. Wisconsin closed out last week with a loss, falling to 7-3 in the process. Given that they were ranked #23 last week, that loss might be enough to drop the Badgers out of the top 25. They should get the win here against a Gamecocks team that closed out last week with back-to-back losses to fall to 4-6 this season. The big question here is whether the Badgers will cover the spread.

Week 5 Top Games

Top Week’s Games to Bet On College Basketball

Top Games to Bet on This Week: There are very few people who enjoy Monday’s, and while it certainly isn’t great to return to work, we choose to look on the positive side. We look at Monday as an opportunity to reset and think about making money after a hectic weekend of action on several fronts. 2023 NCAA Basketball Betting MyBookie Sportsbook | Regular Season: November 6, 2023, to March 17, 2024 | Week 5

With that in mind, we are going to turn our attention to college basketball, with the new season now in full swing. At time of writing, the new rankings have yet to be released, but we are almost certain that there will be a new #1, with the Arizona Wildcats the team looking likely to fill the top spot. We will get into that a little more in a moment when we get to our Monday game, but besides that, we have several other matchups that we like this week to consider in the NCAAB betting, so let’s check them out.

Iowa Hawkeyes at #1 Purdue Boilermakers

Monday, December 4, 7:00 PM at BTN | The mark of a good team is very often how they react to a tough loss. That is what we will be looking at with Purdue, who closed out last week with a surprising OT loss to Northwestern. It was the first loss of the year for the Boilermakers, but can they shake that off and get back to winning ways at home to Iowa on Monday night? This will be the first Big Ten Conference game for the Hawkeyes, so they will be looking to get out to a fast start, while also piling the pressure on the Boilermakers, but can they make that happen?

#13 FAU Owls at #24 Illinois Fighting Illini

Tuesday, December 5, 6:30 PM at ESPN | A big schedule on Tuesday night, but for me, this is the one that jumps off the page. We have a pair of ranked teams going head-to-head, with both teams off to a very solid start to the season. The Owls are sitting at 7-1 this year and have been putting some big numbers on the board in their current win streak. Illinois has bounced back from their lone loss of the season to reel off 4 straight wins and move to 6-1 overall. They may well have the slight edge on home court in this one, but certainly not an easy game.

South Carolina Gamecocks at Clemson Tigers

Wednesday, December 6, 8:00 PM at ACC ESPN | Not too many big games on a crowded Wednesday night schedule, but this matchup looks to be the best of the bunch. Both of these teams are off to an unbeaten start to the season, so something has to give here. The Gamecocks are a perfect 7-0, but this will be their first true road trip of the year, which will be a very good test of where they are really at. The Tigers are also 7-0, winning all 3 of their games on their home court. I think that advantage might give Clemson the edge, but this could be a close one.

Denver Pioneers at #20 Colorado State Rams

Wednesday, December 6, 9:00 PM | There isn’t too much happening on Thursday and Friday, so let’s do a bit of a double dip from the Wednesday night schedule. The Pioneers are 6-3 to start the season, going 2-2 in road games, but it’s going to be tough for them to get anything out of this one. The Colorado State Rams are very quietly moving up the rankings and will almost certainly be higher than their current #20 spot when the new rankings are released. They are 8-0 to start the year, with 4 of those wins coming at home.
