2017 Bahamas Bowl Betting Preview
In the first couple of years of existence, the Bahamas Bowl featured eligible teams from the C-USA and Mid-American Conference, with the American Athletic Conference becoming part of the picture in 2016. If the current bowl projections are to be believed, then we are going to have a third straight year with two new teams appearing in the Bahamas Bowl. The current bowl projections have Lane Kiffin and his Florida Atlantic Owls going head to head with the Northern Illinois Huskies. One of the more intriguing aspects of this potential match-up is that the Owls would be coming into this one with a perfect 2-0 bowl record. The Owls have blown through conference play this season, going 7-0 on their way to an 8-3 record, while the Huskies are currently sitting at a very respectable 7-3.
