2019 College Football Week 13 Over/Under Betting Picks

Written by on November 19, 2019

It’s hard to believe that we are now just a few short weeks away from the Conference Championship Games in college football. We already know who will be competing in a few of those games, but this is still not the time for those teams to relax, especially if the playoffs are still within reach.

Week 13 is historically a weekend where the bigger teams have one more game against lesser opponents before heading into rivalry week in the final game of the regular season. There is a lot at stake for a large number of teams heading into Week 13, so let’s take a look at how things might play out by making some O/U NCAAF Betting picks for the upcoming games.

2019 College Football Week 13 Over/Under Betting Picks

Samford Bulldogs at Auburn Tigers (UNDER 64)

So, there is no real doubt that Auburn is going to win and going to win big in this one, but I have a feeling that the point total here is a little too high. You can almost guarantee that Samford is not going to be able to get a lot going on the offensive side of the football.

It’s also fair to suggest that the Tigers will have a lot of second and third-string guys playing once the second half begins, especially with Alabama being next up on the schedule. Auburn has won both previous meetings with the Bulldogs, averaging 33 PPG. They will score more this weekend, but the total will go UNDER.

  • The total has gone OVER in 5 of Samford’s last 7 games
  • The total has gone UNDER in 4 of Auburn’s last 5 games played in November

Oklahoma State Cowboys at West Virginia Mountaineers in College Football Week 13 (OVER 60 ½)

One thing that we can usually count on in Big 12 Conference games is a ton of scoring, so it’s never really a surprise to see point totals set high for these matchups. There are a couple of things that make me a little nervous about this pick, the first of which is that the Mountaineers offense this season is not what it was in the years when Will Grier was under center.

Four of the last sixmeetings between these two have gone under, but let’s focus on the Cowboys for a moment. In games played in the month of November, Oklahoma State has seen 15 of their last 16 go OVER.

  • The total has gone OVER in 6 of Oklahoma State’s last 7 games played in week 13
  • The total has gone OVER in 5 of West Virginia’s last 7 games played in November

Nebraska Cornhuskers at Maryland Terrapins (UNDER 63)

You look at the defenses of these two teams and you see units that have given up an awful lot of points, so it is perhaps not that surprising to see the point total set so high here.

Nebraska is one of the favorites for College Football Week 13.

The question that needs to be asked, though, is whether either of these teams have the offensive prowess to take serious advantage of their opponent and get some points on the board. I’m not so sure that either of them do, which is why I am leaning towards the UNDER with this one, despite the fact that both are trending over in recent weeks.

  • The total has gone OVER in 4 of Nebraska’s last 5 games played in week 13
  • The total has gone OVER in 4 of Maryland’s last 5 games at home

Texas A&M Aggies at Georgia Bulldogs in College Football Week 13 (OVER 45 ½)

The Texas A&M Aggies have been woeful as a road dog over the past few seasons, but the question here is whether they and the Georgia Bulldogs can combine to go over a point total that looks a little bit on the low side.

Yes, the Bulldogs offense has not been firing on all cylinders of late, but you get a definite feeling that their run game could cause some serious problems for the Aggies, which might force them to open up the offense when they get the ball. I think Georgia wins big and I also think we see the OVER here.

  • The total has gone UNDER in 4 of Texas A&M’s last 5 games on the road
  • The total has gone UNDER in 5 of Georgia’s last 5 games against an opponent in the Southeast conference
