If you’re a college football betting enthusiast that is fired up about the 2018 campaign, then you should know that you can already start making future odds wagers that could turn out to be quite profitable if you know where to find the betting value that you’re looking for! Thanks to the recent release of Over/Under win total odds for almost every D-I team there is, you could cash consistently if you’ve got a firm handle on just how many games certain teams will win this coming season. Best of all, even if you haven’t done all of the homework, I have and now you could benefit from my in-depth research and analysis. Okay, with all of that said, let’s get to a quartet of my top O/U win total odds picks for the 2018 regular season.

Expert 2018 College Football Betting Predictions: Total Wins

Washington Huskies

  • Over 10 (-120)
  • Under 10 (-110)
I’m starting with a team that I expect to challenge for the national championship. Star quarterback Jake Browning and star running back Myles Gaskin are both back and that alone means the Huskies will be quite formidable on offense. Washington has a bevy of talented wide receivers and a loaded defense that looks like it will be as good as it was two years ago. The Huskies have a difficult home opener against Auburn and a tough regular season finale at Washington State, but I’m thinking Washington will get through the 2018 season with 11 wins and one loss. Pick: Over 10 Wins

TCU Horned Frogs

  • Over 8 (-115)
  • Under 8 (-115)
You may not have seen sophomore quarterback Shawn Robinson, but I have and I have to say, I’m expecting great things out of the four-star recruit. In addition to Robinson, the Horned Frogs also have three four-star receivers, three four-star running backs, and a four-star junior college offensive tackle arriving in the last three recruiting classes. If TCU can come close to playing at the elite level they did defensively last season, reaching the nine-win mark should be easy pickings! Pick: Over 8 Wins

Kansas State Wildcats

  • Over 7 (-110)
  • Under 7 (-120)
K-State went 8-5 last season, but I’m thinking the Wildcats will be hard-pressed to reach the eight-win mark in 2018 because they’ve got quarterback issues, a virtually non-existent pass rush and have to replace several starters that either declared for the NFL draft or transferred. Kansas State doesn't look like a safe 2018 College Football Betting pick. Kansas State has more question marks on special teams and an aging head coach that really looks like he’s ready to hang it up. The Cats win their home opener over South Dakota and they win in Week 3 against visiting UTSA, but I’m not seeing a whole bunch of other wins outside of those two. Six wins are the best Kansas State will do in 2018. Pick: Under 7 Wins

Texas Longhorns

  • Over 7 (-105)
  • Under 7 (-125)
Texas went 7-6 in Tom Herman’s first season a year ago and they could be poised for an even bigger season – if Herman can settle on who his starting quarterback will be in 2018 instead of playing musical chairs like he did last season while replenishing a secondary that lost its four best players from a year ago. After looking at the Horns’ 2018 schedule, I’ve come to the conclusion that Texas is likely looking at seven wins exactly. Texas is losing to TCU, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, West Virginia, Iowa State and possibly K-State or Baylor. Play the Under as I just don’t see eight wins no matter how hard I try. Pick: Under 7 Wins
