Jarvis Landry is not happy with the Dolphins odds for NFL Week 4.

2016 NFL Miami at Dallas Expert Picks

Each and every team heading into the new NFL has a certain level of expectation placed upon them. Some teams are expected to soar, while others seem destined to fall flat on their faces. We really won’t know anything for sure until the regular season begins, but the preseason games give us a little glimpse into what every team may have going for them in the depth department. After just 1 preseason game, there are some players that have certainly jumped out. At the top of that list is Dak Prescott, who looked like a legitimate NFL QB in his first game as a Cowboy. He will of course be starting behind Tony Romo this season, but another performance this week like he delivered in the first will give Dallas fans reason to believe that they will be in good hand should Romo once again go down with an injury this year. This week it will be the Miami Dolphins coming to town, and they too looked pretty good in Week 1 of the NFL preseason. The Cowboys are a 3-point betting odds favorite heading into Friday night.

Why bet on the Miami Dolphins

If Week 1of the preseason is anything to go by, the Dolphins may have some decisions to make when it comes time to start making roster cuts. They went down 10-0 early to the New York Giants in their opening game, but once the fringe guys came in, things started to turn around. The Miami Dolphins ended up coming away with an impressive 27-10 win, and while that means little in the grand scheme of things, it will help build some confidence in a team that is not expected to be among the best in the league this coming season. This game is another chance for the guys who did so well in Week 1 to impress and perhaps extend their stay.

Why bet on the Dallas Cowboys

The Cowboys lost 28-24 to the LA Rams in their opening preseason game, but they still came away feeling very good about themselves. It was always going to be tough to head into LA and get a win in the Rams first game back in the City of Angels, but the score came in a distant second when compared to the performance put in by rookie QB Dak Prescott. The young man went 10-12 for 139 yards and 2 TD’s, and generally looked incredibly poised for a rookie. Another similar type performance this week and the Cowboys should get the win.

Expert Pick and Final Score Prediction

The Cowboys come into this one as a 3-point favorite, and I think that this is a spread that they should be able to cover here.  I also like the OVER 40.5-point total here, especially if the back-up QB’s put in another solid showing.
