Check out how all the changes will have an impact on what happens early in the 2022-2023 NFL Regular Season so you can plan your bets against the NFL Odds

Early Betting Predictions for the NFL Season

2022-2023 NFL Regular Season

  • When: Sep. 8, 2022 – Jan. 8, 2023

Tampa Bay starts the season going 0-3 straight up

Surprised? Don’t be. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers start the quest for their second title in three seasons on the road versus NFC East champion Dallas.

Then in NFL Week 2, the Buccaneers go against Tom Brady nemesis New Orleans on the road. Week 3 sees a game versus the Green Bay Packers. So, yes, there’s a real chance Tampa starts the season 0-3.

Heck, the Bucs could start the season 0-4. What happens in NFL Week 4? Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs head to Florida.

The Browns start the season with a 4-game winning streak

While the Buccaneers should struggle early, the Cleveland Browns will excel. Rock City is at Carolina and versus the New York Jets in their first two games.

In their second two contests, Cleveland hosts rival Pittsburgh and then head to Atlanta. Even if Deshaun Watson must sit out the first month due to a suspension, the Browns have no business not going 4-0.

Dallas beats Tampa in Week 1, their Super Bowl odds drop, and then their SB odds rise after Cincinnati blows the Cowboys out in Week 2

The Cowboys should have no trouble handing Tom Brady and the Buccaneers a loss in Week 1. The Bucs’ window appears to be closing while the Cowboys’ window appears to be widening.

But after beating Brady and the Buccaneers, and feeling good about themselves in the process, the Cowboys will fall back to earth in Week 2 after the Cincinnati Bengals blow them out.

Cincy is flying under the radar, which is strange. All the Bengals did during the offseason is shore up their offensive line by signing former Cowboy La’el Collins and maintain their terrific defense by keeping their core happy.

The Broncos win their first two games and Russell Wilson becomes the MVP favorite

Denver opens at Seattle. That’s bad news for the Seahawks. Russell is going to go nuts versus his old team.

Then in their second game, the Broncos take on the Houston Texans at home. So we’re thinking over 600 combined passing yards and 6 TD passes in 2 games. Numbers like that will make Wilson the early chalk to win the NFL MVP.

Arizona goes 0-3 in the first three weeks, fans tweet about benching Murry and firing Kingsbury

DeAndre Hopkins must sit out the first six games, which is bad news if you’re a Cardinals fan. Zona hosts Kansas City in Week 1.

In their second game, Arizona is at Las Vegas and in their third the Rams come to the desert. There’s a good chance, a more than good chance, the Cards start the season 0-3.

The bottom line with Arizona is that without Hopkins, Kyler Murray struggles. Teams have figured out how to defend against Murray. He didn’t play well down the stretch last season when Zona went 5-of-7.

Arizona won’t turn it around this season. Cardinals’ fans expect a contender, but it won’t happen. Expect a lot of disappointing Arizona fans come September.
