NFL Playoffs Betting Odds: Sunday Wild Card Games Analysis

The National Football League’s first ever Super Wild Card Weekend happens from Saturday, Jan. 15 through Monday, Jan. 17. Unlike in past seasons, only the top seed in the NFC and AFC gets a bye, which means all other teams, all 12 remaining playoff squads, throw down this weekend. Check out NFL Playoffs odds, analysis, and free picks for every game during the Super Wild Card Weekend.

NFL Early Updated Odds for Sunday Wild Card Games

NFL Super Wild Card Weekend

  • When: Saturday, Jan. 15 – Monday, Jan. 17

Las Vegas Raiders vs Cincinnati Bengals -6 ½

  • When: Saturday, Jan. 15

Joe Burrow took Week 18 off due to a knee injury. He’s listed as questionable for Saturday’s matchup versus the Raiders.

Although JB is listed as questionable, there’s no way he doesn’t play. The Burrow to Chase connection is already one of the best, if not the best, in the NFL. Also, the Raiders snuck their way into the playoffs. So Bengals cover.

NFL Wild Card Pick: Cincinnati Bengals

New England Patriots vs Buffalo Bills -4 ½

  • When: Saturday, Jan. 15

The Bills are hot heading into the playoffs. Buffalo won the AFC East, which is one of the reasons they’re over 3-point favorites against the Patriots.

Another reason? The Pats fell like a ton of bricks against the Miami Dolphins on Sunday. However, before dumping on the Bills, realize the Patriots always struggle against Miami.

On Jan. 15, Bill Belichick will have an adjusted game plan to beat Buffalo after the Bills took the last head-to-head. Give the Patriots the nod against the spread.

NFL Wild Card Pick: New England Patriots

Philadelphia Eagles vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers -9

  • When: Sunday, Jan. 16

Tampa geared up for a deep playoff run by dominating the Carolina Panthers. But although we should give Tom Brady and his mates a ton of credit, we shouldn’t look past the Eagles keeping this much closer than many expect.

Philadelphia quarterback Jalen Hurts should be well-rested after not playing in the blow out loss to the Cowboys. The Eagles are better than what they showed in Big D.

Philadelphia’s defense will keep this close while Hurts should have success against Tampa’s D. The Eagles can pull off the moneyline shocker. Taking the points makes the most sense.

NFL Wild Card Pick: Philadelphia Eagles

San Francisco 49ers vs Dallas Cowboys -3

  • When: Sunday, Jan. 16

The 49ers mounted an unbelievable come back to beat the Los Angeles Rams in their final regular season game. Mainly because of that, the Niners should be considered a serious contender to upset the Cowboys in their wild card matchup on Sunday.

Dallas looked good beating a Philadelphia team trying not to get anyone hurt. The Eagles knew they were ending up the 6th or 7th seed. Why play hard and suffer an injury to derail your playoff hopes?

Deebo Samuel can’t be stopped and SF’s defense dominated Matthew Stafford and the Rams. Consider backing San Francisco on the moneyline.

NFL Wild Card Pick: San Francisco 49ers

Pittsburgh Steelers vs Kansas City Chiefs -12 ½

  • When: Sunday, Jan. 16

The line doesn’t make a lot of sense. Pittsburgh failed big time during the regular season against Kansas City. The Steelers could never recover after a couple of bad plays.

Things are much different now, though. Pittsburgh’s defense stepped it up against Baltimore while Big Ben has rallied the offense. The Chiefs may go into this overconfident. So absolutely consider taking the points.

NFL Wild Card Pick: Pittsburgh Steelers

When: Monday, Jan. 17

Arizona Cardinals vs Los Angeles Rams -4

  • When: Sunday, Jan. 16

It’s difficult to back the Rams after they blew a 17-point lead over the rival San Francisco 49ers and ended up losing the game.

A victory would have secured the 2-seed. Instead, Los Angeles bumbled their way to the 4-seed, which means LAR must beat the Arizona Cardinals, another division rival, to move to the divisional playoffs.

Will the Rams get it done? They will. Although it’s easy to pick the Cards, especially since J.J. Watt should play, the Rams’ defensive line knows how to play against Kyler Murray. Expect Aaron Donald and his mates to confuse Murray by pulling back, keeping Kyler in the pocket, and raising their hands.

Kyler can’t throw to what he can’t see. So give the Rams the benefit of doubt and back them to cover.

NFL Wild Card Pick: Los Angeles Rams
