Week 10 NFL ATS Picks: Green Bay At Tennessee

Written by on November 8, 2016

Aaron Rodgers and the ‘desperate’ Green Bay Packers will look to snap out of the funk they’ve been in for the better part of the last month when they hit the road to take on Marcus Mariota and a Tennessee Titans team that is clearly improving despite dropping two of its last three games. Now, let’s find out if the Pack can bounce back to get the SU win and online betting ATS cover.

Green Bay Packers

The Green Bay Packers (4-4 SU, 3-4-1 ATS) have lost two straight and three of their last four games overall, including their humbling 31-26 loss to Indianapolis while never coming close to covering the spread as a 7.5-point favorite. Aaron Rodgers completed 26 of 43 passes for 297 yards and three touchdowns while tossing one interception, but the Packers allowed veteran running back Frank Gore to rush for 60 yards and two scores on 19 carries while giving up 99-yard kickoff return on the opening play of the game which they could never overcome. Afterward, Rodgers ripped his team for a lack of energy. “I mean that didn’t help, I’m sure, (the kickoff return), but c’mon – we’ve got to be mentally tougher than that,” Rodgers said. “That’s just unacceptable.”

Tennessee Titans

Tennessee (4-5 SU, 3-6 ATS) put up a great effort but ended up falling to red-hot San Diego 43-35 last weekend despite the fact that second-year signal-caller Marcus Mariota completed 27 of 43 passes for 313 yards and three touchdowns. The bad news is that Mariota also tossed two costly interceptions while veteran running back DeMarco Murray was limited to 51 rushing yards and one score. Tennessee also gave up a career-high 196 rushing yards and one touchdown to San Diego’s Melvin Gordon while allowing veteran quarterback Philip Rivers to toss two TD passes.

Expert Prediction and Pick

While I’ve been fairly impressed with the way the Tennessee Titans have improved this season, I just can’t bring myself to go up against Aaron Rodgers and Green Bay Packers squad that is pretty desperate to improve their playoff and division titles hopes coming into this contest. Green Bay has the slight edge statistically on both sides of the ball and they’ve gone 6-3 TS in their last nine road games while Tennessee has gone 3-13-1 ATS in its last 17 games and 1-7-1 ATS in its last nine home games. I like Aaron Rodgers to will the Packers to the win and ATS cover.
