NFL Week 9 Odds Overview & Predictions for Each Game

On Thursday, the New York Jets and Indianapolis Colts kick off NFL Week 9. The Colts are -10 ½ favorites to dominate the Jets. But the Jets have momentum after a shocking victory over the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 8. Check out MyBookie’s NFL odds, analysis, and free picks for every game in Week 9 of the 2021 season.

2021 NFL Regular Season – Week 9 Odds Analysis & Picks

2021 NFL Week 9

  • When: Thursday, Nov. 4 – Monday, Nov. 8

New York Jets vs Indianapolis Colts -10 ½

  • When: Thursday, Nov. 4

In NFL Week 8, Mike White led the Jets to an improbable 34-31 win against the Cincinnati Bengals. But although the Jets are hot, don’t expect White to repeat the performance. The Jets scored 17 points in the fourth quarter to grab the victory. The Colts know they let one slip from their grasps in the loss to the Titans. Colts cover.

NFL Week 9 Pick: Indianapolis Colts

Houston Texans vs Miami Dolphins -7

  • When: Sunday, Nov. 7

Houston is terrible. But are the Texans more terrible than the Miami Dolphins? Another week meant another loss for preaseason playoff contender Miami. The Texans have traded away most of their decent players. So although the Dolphins are terrible SU and ATS, the Fins should cover the -7.

NFL Week 9 Pick: Miami Dolphins

Denver Broncos vs Dallas Cowboys -9 ½

  • When: Sunday, Nov. 7

Denver is trading Von Miller to the Rams. Dallas proved in Week 8 they could win with backup quarterback Cooper Rush. There’s no way Denver’s vanilla offense keeps up with the highest-scoring team in the league. Cowboys roll.

NFL Week 9 Pick: Dallas Cowboys

Minnesota Vikings vs Baltimore Ravens -6

  • When: Sunday, Nov. 7

It’s difficult to understand the Minnesota Vikings. Minnesota’s offense should average close to 30 points per game. Dalvin Cook is one of the best running backs in the league and Kirk Cousins is one of the top starting quarterbacks in the NFL. Minnesota can keep this close. But Baltimore is hungry after losing to Cincinnati a couple of weeks ago. Ravens ATS.

NFL Week 9 Pick: Baltimore Ravens

Las Vegas Raiders -3 vs New York Giants

  • When: Sunday, Nov. 7

Raiders’ WR Henry Ruggs III just got charged for driving under the influence and causing a crash that took a life. Expect the spread line to switch, which means the Giants become favored. NYG is good enough to cover as a favorite or underdog. They were good enough before Ruggs III’s crash.

NFL Week 9 Pick: New York Giants

New England Patriots -3 ½ vs Carolina Panthers

  • When: Sunday, Nov. 7

It’s difficult seeing the Carolina Panthers putting together a couple of victories in a row. The Panthers aren’t the same squad that went 3-0 to start the season. Atlanta shot themselves in the foot in Week 8. The Patriots head to Carolina after upsetting a much better team on the road, the Los Angeles Chargers. Pats cover.

NFL Week 9 Pick: New England Patriots

Buffalo Bills -14 ½ vs Jacksonville Jaguars

  • When: Sunday, Nov. 7

The Jaguars are a bad football team. The Buffalo Bills might be the best team in the NFL. The Bills’ defense will shut down the Jaguars’ offense. Josh Allen and the Bills’ offense should score at will. The spread isn’t large enough to back the home team to cover.

NFL Week 9 Pick: Buffalo Bills

Cleveland Browns vs Cincinnati Bengals -3

  • When: Sunday, Nov. 7

Cincinnati’s defense is much better than what it showed versus the Jets. The good news if you’re a Cincy fan is how the offense produced 31 points. Cleveland is fading fast. The Browns just aren’t playing well. Bengals all the way.

NFL Week 9 Pick: Cincinnati Bengals

Atlanta Falcons vs New Orleans Saints -6

  • When: Sunday, Nov. 7

Losing your starting quarterback is never a good thing. But Sean Payton doesn’t expect much from his passing attack. The Saints’ defense shut down Tom Brady. Why wouldn’t it make life difficult for Matt Ryan? Saints win and cover.

NFL Week 9 Pick: New Orleans Saints

Los Angeles Chargers -2 ½ vs Philadelphia Eagles

  • When: Sunday, Nov. 7

The Los Angeles Chargers are looking more and more like the Cleveland Browns, an overrated squad that hit it’s peak in NFL Week 4. The Eagles decimated the Detroit Lions 44-6 in their last. Yes, the Bolts are a better team than the Eagles, but, maybe, Philly has turned the corner. Eagles straight up is the play.

NFL Week 9 Pick: Philadelphia Eagles moneyline

Green Bay Packers vs Kansas City Chiefs -3

  • When: Sunday, Nov. 7

How interesting is this game? No, seriously. Are you as excited about Rodgers versus Mahomes right now as you were before the season started? The Chiefs aren’t on Green Bay’s level. Until they prove they can beat a good team, KC is a play against. Go Packers moneyline.

NFL Week 9 Pick: Green Bay Packers moneyline

Arizona Cardinals -2 ½ vs San Francisco 49ers

  • When: Sunday, Nov. 7

Arizona suffered it’s first loss in NFL Week 8. The Cardinals could lose their second straight because DeAndre Hopkins may not play and Kyler Murray looked banged up in the game versus the Packers. JJ Watt won’t play. San Francisco has a huge opportunity. The Niners won’t let it pass them by.

NFL Week 9 Pick: San Francisco 49ers moneyline

Tennessee Titans vs Los Angeles Rams -7 ½

  • When: Sunday, Nov. 7

With Derrick Henry, the Titans had a shot. Without Henry, it doesn’t feel like they have any shot. Ah, but the Titans can score with their excellent passing attack. So although the Rams should win, the victory could come at a number less than the spread.

NFL Week 9 Pick: Tennessee Titans

Chicago Bears vs Pittsburgh Steelers -7

  • When: Monday, Nov. 8

Mike Tomlin is the best coach in the NFL. That’s all there is to it. Three weeks ago, Pittsburgh looked dead. But Tomlin rallied his players, the Steelers won 3 in a row, and suddenly Pittsburgh is a game behind Baltimore and tied with Cincinnati in the AFC North. The Steelers should blow out the Bears

NFL Week 9 Pick: Pittsburgh Steelers
