If you are not from Europe or don’t have any type of family background that finds its way back to one country or another, you may want to pick a team to root for at the 2024 European Championship, which is set to start this coming Friday.

EURO 2024 Group F Odds: Who’s Advancing to the Knockout Stages?

My Analysis for Group F

Perhaps you will get on board with the host nation or one of the other giants of football. Then again, maybe you will want to root for the underdog, of which there are one or two in each of the 6 groups. In short, you have 24 teams to choose from, all of whom will be battling to become one of the 16 teams that will make it into the knockout round. We are going to break down each of the 6 groups, so let’s take a look at Group F in the EURO 2024.

Turkey Euro Betting Odds +400

In the qualifying stage, it quickly became clear that Turkey and Croatia would be the 2 teams picking up the automatic qualification spots. It was only a matter of who would go as the group winner. That proved to be Croatia, who edged out the Turks by a single point. There are, though, some real concerns about how Turkey has been playing of late, with just 1 goal scored in their last 4 games, with that one coming in a 6-1 loss to Austria. They do have a bit of a history in this tournament, with their best showing coming in 2008 when they reached the semi-final. They will have a hard time matching that run here.

Georgia Euro Betting Odds +1525

If you are looking to root for a long shot, Georgia might well be the team for you, as they are the only team in this tournament to be making their first appearance. It was a tough path to get here, though, with Georgia finishing 4th in a qualifying group that included Spain and Scotland. They were forced to go the playoff route, beating out Luxembourg before requiring a penalty shootout win over former champions Greece to make it to the final 24. For my money, they look like an absolute certainty to be going out in the group stage.

Portugal Euro Betting Odds +230

You can’t talk about Portugal without talking about Cristiano Ronaldo, who will be making his 6th appearance in this tournament. In that time, he has amassed the most appearances (25) and goals (14) at the Euros, while also picking up a champions medal along the way. How much of an impact he makes this time around remains to be seen, as he is now fast approaching 40. Still, Portugal is a team blessed with a ton of talent to draw upon, and they should win this group comfortably.

Czechia Euro Betting Odds +560

A team with a rich history at the Euros, albeit some of which came before the split seen in Czechoslovakia, this group has a solid chance at moving on to the Round of 16, and perhaps even further. They were beaten out for the top spot in qualifying by Albania by goal difference, holding off Poland to take the #2 spot in that group. They have looked strong, albeit against lesser opposition, in the buildup to the tournament, winning 4 in a row and outscoring the opposition 13-4 in the process. I think they could well end up in the #2 spot in this group.
