Top Half of the Men’s Draw

One of the top seed, and defending champion, Roger Federer has breezed into the Round of 16 at Wimbledon, and he did the same going into the quarterfinals. The Swiss won 6-0, 7-5, 6-4. Next up for Federer will be Kevin Anderson, who upset Gael Monfils in a thrilling match 7-6, 7-6, 5-7, 7-6. Milos Raonic won 6-3, 6-4, 6-7, 6-2 against McKenzie McDonald, a player that he has only met once before prior to this Round of 16 meeting. Now, for Raonic, comes John Isner, as the American defeated Stefanos Tsitsipas in three sets (6-4, 7-6, 7-6).

Bottom Half of the Men’s Draw

Novak Djokovic has had a tough time returning from injury, but it looks as though he is finding his form here at Wimbledon. Nole kept the momentum going with a solid and comfortable victory against Karen Jachánov (6-4, 6-2, 6-2). He moves on to face Kei Nishikori, who beat Ernests Gulbis 6-4, 6-7, 7-6, 6-1. Novak Djokovic is one of the 2018 Wimbledon Betting favorites. Juan Martin del Potro did not disappoint against Gilles Simon, as the Argentinian won the first two sets 7-6, 7-6 to then lost the third one 5-7. Unfortunately, the game was suspended at the beginning of the fourth set, so we will have to wait a little more to know who’s going to the next round, but the reality here though is that Simon has been unable to beat the Argentinian in two previous attempts on grass, so a win for Del Potro here. The other quarter-finalist will be #1, Rafael Nadal, as he easily won against Jiří Veselý 6-3, 6-3, 6-4.
