  • Alexander Zverev +1200
  • Roger Federer +1800
  • Juan Martin Del Potro +2800
  • Marin Cilic +2800

  • Kei Nishikori +4000
  • Hyeon Chung +6600
  • Stefanos Tsitsipas +1600
  • Felix Auger Aliassime +8000

My Top Five Picks

No. 5 Stefanos Tsitsipas

  • 2019 French Open Odds: +1600

Sure, the young, 20-year-old from Greece may not quite be ready to win a major just yet, but I love the care-free abandon he plays with and I believe he is quite capable of making a deep run at Roland Garros.  Tsitsipas is 29-11 on the year with two titles including the 2019 Estoril Open in Portugal on clay about three weeks ago. This up-and-coming star also reached the semifinals in Rome and the semifinals in Madrid where he beat Nadal, Alexander Zverev, Fernando Verdasco and Adrian Mannarino along the way.

No. 4 Roger Federer

  • 2019 French Open Odds: +1800

The Maestro might be 37-years-old, but you’d never know it the way he still moves and plays the game. The living legend is a robust 22-3 on the year with a pair of titles at Dubai and Miami. Federer has also shown some solid play on clay in his return to the surface in almost three years by reaching the quarters in Madrid and Rome. Federer is also an impressive 218-69 with 11 titles on clay in his career, including the 2009 French Open.

No. 3 Dominic Thiem

  • 2019 French Open Odds: +450

The 25-year-old Thiem has gone 17-8 this year with two titles in Indian Wells and Barcelona. Thiem reached the semis in Madrid and took out Nadal on clay to claim his title in Barcelona. Thiem is a stellar 124-43 with nine titles on clay in his career and is generally regarded as the second-best clay court player in the world.

No. 2 Novak Djokovic

  • 2019 French Open Odds: +175

The 32-year-old World No. 1 from Serbia will be looking to claim his fourth consecutive grand slam title and he could very well pull it off even if he’s not the favorite. Djokovic is 25-3 on the year with two titles including the 2019 Australian Open. He’s also gone 209-54 on clay with 14 titles in his career including the 2016 French Open. While Djokovic lost in the finals at Rome against Nadal, he also managed to win in Madrid just prior to that.

No. 1 Rafael Nadal

  • 2019 French Open Odds: -110

The 32-year-old Spaniard is 25-5 on the year with one title, but what a timely title it was as Rafa won in Rome two weeks ago while dismantling Djokovic in the finals and taking out Tsitsipas and Verdasco just prior to that. By now, everyone knows Nadal has won an incomprehensible 11 French Open titles, including each of the last two. Nadal has gone an insane 86-2 at Roland Garros (97.7%) and right now, he’s looking good for the win – again!
