2023 MMA Betting for Top Week's events: Dana White's, PFL 9 and UFC Fight Night

2023 MMA Betting for Top Week’s events: Dana White’s, PFL 9 and UFC Fight Night

In the grand scheme of things, we are looking at a bit of a quieter week in the world of MMA, which is not altogether surprising when you consider just how many events we have had over the past couple of weeks. While there might not be as many events as usual to look forward to in the coming week, there are still plenty of fights to sink your teeth into and hopefully win some money with. All told, we have 3 different fight nights to look forward to, and while we are not going to have any predictions in this article, we will have you covered later in the week in terms of MMA picks and predictions. For now, let’s take a look at what’s coming in the next few days.

MMA Events during this week: Don’t miss out on these betting events + Dana White’s Contender Series | MMA Lines by MyBookie

MMA Week: Monday, August 21th – Sunday, August 27th, 2023

Contender Series Week 3

When: Tuesday at 8 PM EST
Where: UFC Apex, Las Vegas, Nevada
TV / Streaming: ESPN+

The good news is that we don’t need to wait very long for the first batch of fights this week, with Week 3 of Dana White’s Contender Series set to go on Tuesday night. Once again, we will have 10 fighters looking to put on a show in hopes of impressing the boss and perhaps securing a UFC contract. Let’s take a quick peek at the fights leading up to the main event:

We close the night out with the main event, which has Eli Aronov and Zachary Reese going head-to-head in a Middleweight bout.

PFL Week 9

When: Wednesday at 6 PM EST
Where: The Theater at Madison Square Garden, NY
TV / Streaming: ESPN | Prelims: ESPN+

If there is a positive to be found from a lighter schedule this week, it’s that we don’t have events going off at the same time. Wednesday night sees the return of the PFL, which is now deep in the playoff phase of things. We are edging ever closer to the champions being crowned, so let’s take a look at the main card:

That brings us to the co-main event of the night, which has Olivier Aubin-Mercier squaring off against Bruno Miranda in a Lightweight bout. That is followed by the headliner, which sees Clay Collard and Shane Burgos ready to do battle.

UFC Fight Night

When: Saturday at 5 AM EST
Where: Singapore Indoor Stadium, Singapore
TV / Streaming: ESPN+

No, that is not a typo, this event is going off at 5 o’clock on Saturday morning, as it is taking place in Singapore. This is a great chance for the UFC to show off their stuff in a new market, and they have put together a very solid 6-fight main card to help do that. Let’s take a quick look at the bouts:

The co-main event of the evening is a Light Heavyweight bout featuring Anthony Smith and Ryan Spann. We close this one out with a Featherweight bout between a pair of solid veterans, with Max Holloway and Chan Sung Jung set to do battle.
