UFC Fight Night Benavidez vs Figueiredo

Grant Dawson vs Darrick Minner

Grant Dawson averages 6 takedowns every 15 minutes. His takedown average is 54%. But the 14-1 chalk isn’t just an awesome ground game specialist. He also averages 3.8 significant strikes per minute. Dawson should have his way with Minner both standing up and on the ground. He’s the easy pick.

UFC Betting Pick: Grant Dawson

Megan Anderson vs Norma Dumont

Anderson has won 2-of-3. She deserves favoritism here, but Norma could pull off the upset. Although Megan has more experience, she’s fought Holly Holm, Cat Zigano, and Felicia Spencer, Dumont has the unknown factor. She’s won her previous 4 fights, has decent stand-up and ground game skills and should put forth a great effort. Dumont is worth backing at the odds.

UFC Betting Pick: Norma Dumont

Ion Cutelaba vs Magomed Ankalaev

Both these guys have plenty of MMA experience. Cutelaba’s got a 14-4 record. Ankalaev’s record is 11-1. The difference between the two is that Cutelaba appears to have more power. Magomed has the better defense, though. Also, Ankalev heads into this off a 3-fight win streak. Back Magomed.

UFC Betting Pick: Magomed Ankalaev

Felicia Spencer vs Zarah Fairn

Felicia Spencer has done almost nothing wrong. The Canadian fighter is 7-1 after 8 bouts. The loss happened to Cyborg. So, we can forgive Felicia for that. Before the “L”, she beat Megan Anderson via submission in Round 1. Spencer should win on Saturday, no problem. On October 15, Anderson submitted Fairn in the first round. Fairn is a tough fighter. She’s not in the same class as Felicia Spencer.

UFC Betting Pick: Felicia Spencer

Joseph Benavidez vs Deiveson Figueiredo

Benavidez versus Figueiredo should be an awesome fight. Although Joseph is favored, he’s not favored by much. It’s difficult to separate these two. Both land a decent amount of strikes per minute. Each has great grappling skills. Both have fantastic records.

Who gets the nod? Whenever we’re faced with an MMA match that’s this close, we often have one choice, let the odds decide for us. But in this case, the chalk gets the nod. The reason? Since losing to Sergio Pettis in 2018, Benavidez has rocked it. He beat Alex Perez, Dustin Ortiz, and Jussier Formiga. Before the loss to Pettis, Benavidez beat Henry Cejudo. Joseph wants a title shot. Figueiredo won’t stand in his way.

UFC Betting Pick: Joseph Benavidez
