UFC 275: Teixeira Vs Prochazka Betting Odds, Analysis & Picks

The UFC is leaving Las Vegas behind for their next event, with UFC 275 set to go at 7 PM EST on Saturday night, live from Singapore. While that time slot is a good one for fans, it’s going to be an interesting time for the fighters, as they will be hitting the octagon at 7 AM local time. They will, of course, had some time to adjust to the new location, but it is still going to feel strange to be exchanging blows at such an early hour. What we have coming up is a main card that has 5 very good fights on it, including a pair of title fights at the top of the card. As we always do, let’s get the latest UFC Lines out to you guys, with predictions for each fight.

MMA Betting Preview for UFC 275: Teixeira vs Prochazka

Jack Della Madalena (-155) Vs Ramazan Emeev (+125)

We get the main card rolling with a Welterweight bout between two very good fighters. Madalena is on a bit of a tear at the moment and is coming into this bout having won 11 in a row after losing the first 2 fights of his pro career. Emeev is a very respectable 20-5 in his pro career, but he is also looking to bounce back after taking a loss in his last bout. This should be a good one, but I think we might see Madalena get the KO win/

Jake Matthews (+115) Vs Andre Fialho (-145)

We have another Welterweight bout in as the second bout on the main card, and again, it looks like a good one. Matthews is coming off a loss, with his record dropping to 17-5, but this is a fighter who has been solid with the UFC, going 6-2 there. Fialho is 16-4 overall and is on a decent run of form, winning 4 of his last 5 fights, including the last 2. I don’t think there is any way this goes the distance and I like Fialho for the KO win.

Weili Zhang (-170) Vs Joanna Jedrzejczyk (+140)

We have the ladies up next for a Strawweight bout, which also just happens to be a rematch. Zhang comes into this one having won 2 in a row, but both of those were tile fights versus Namajunas, the latest of which was a split decision. Jedrzejczyk is sliding in the wrong direction after losing 3 of her last 5 fights, one of which came at the hands of Zhang. This should be a fun fight that goes the distance and I have Zhang with the decision.

Valentina Shevchenko (-600) Vs Taila Santos (+400)

This is the co-main event of the night and the first of the 2 title fights on the card. This one is for the women’s Flyweight Championship, with Shevchenko defending her title. She comes into this one with a 22-3 career mark and a run that has seen her win 8 in a row. Santos has a very solid record, too, going 19-1 and bouncing back to win 4 straight after her first career loss. She does, though, look to be up against it here, which is why I like the champ by KO.

Glover Teixeira (+160) Vs Jiri Prochazka (-200)

We close the night out with what looks to be a fantastic matchup, with Teixeira looking to defend his Light Heavyweight title. He comes into this one with a 33-7 record and is on a run that has seen him win 7 in a row. The champ is always tough to beat, but Prochazka is a worth opponent. He is 28-3-1 and has gone unbeaten since 2015. He has won 12 in a row since that point. I think it might be time for the title to change hands, so I am taking Prochazka for the KO win.
