NFL Week 16 Lines, Picks & Betting Trends: This Week’s TNF, SNF, MNF Games

Written by on December 20, 2022

With Christmas falling on Sunday this week, we have an altered schedule. Many of the games will now be played on Saturday, with just three games being on Sunday. Let’s take a look at the Thursday night, and Monday night games, along with the top NFL Betting games on Saturday and Sunday.

A Rundown of the Top NFL Week 16 Betting Games In Each of the Time Slots

Jacksonville Jaguars @ New York Jets – Thursday Night

The Jacksonville Jaguars have been on a roll as of late. Trevor Lawrence seems to be putting things together, and with a victory over Dallas in overtime on Sunday, the Jags are full of confidence.

As for the Jets, they’re coming off of a crushing loss to the Detroit Lions. The Jets are seeing their playoff hopes fade away. We’re not sure if Mike White or Zach Wilson will be under center on Thursday night. The Jets defense is dealing with some injuries, so that could be a factor in this one.

Cincinnati Bengals @ New England Patriots – Saturday @ Noon

Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals have finally taken over the top spot in the AFC North. The Bengals are on a roll, and they’re ready to make another run at the Super Bowl. With some great offensive weapons, and an improved offensive line, the Bengals are scoring points in bunches.

The New England Patriots lost to the Las Vegas Raiders in devastating fashion last Sunday. The Pats are making a lot of mistakes this season, and this doesn’t look like a typical Bill Belichick team. We’ll see if the old coach has some tricks up his sleeve for the Bengals, or if the Pats continue to slide down the standings.

Philadelphia Eagles @ Dallas Cowboys – Saturday Afternoon

The Eagles have the best record in the league, but they may be without their starting quarterback this weekend, as Jalen Hurts is dealing with a shoulder injury. The Cowboys are coming off of an overtime loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars last Sunday.

The Eagles need to keep on winning to solidify their top spot in the NFC Playoffs. Dallas has one of the top defenses in the league, and if the Eagles don’t have Hurts, it will be tough for them to beat Dallas in their home stadium.

Green Bay Packers @ Miami Dolphins – Sunday

All the Miami Dolphins want for Christmas is a victory. The Dolphins desperately need to win this one, as with a loss, they would be on the outside looking in on the AFC Playoffs. The Dolphins have one of the top offenses in the league, and with Raheem Mostert running well, and Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle playing well, the Packers will have a hard time slowing this offense down.

Aaron Rodgers and the Packers are coming off of a Monday night win over the Los Angeles Rams. We’ll see if Rodgers can take advantage of a Miami defense that gives up a lot of points.

Los Angeles Chargers @ Indianapolis Colts – Monday Night

Justin Herbert now has a full arsenal of weapons, and he has led the Chargers back into the playoff race. Indianapolis blew a huge lead against the Minnesota Vikings last week, and they’ll be looking to rebound from the devastating loss.
