Over the past few weeks, we have seen the UFC move their events to earlier in the afternoon. While that is different from what we have been used to from them, it also creates the possibility for watching some MMA doubleheader action. That is the case this Saturday, with the UFC event starting at 4 PM EST and the Bellator 268 event kicking off at 7 PM EST. We are going to focus on the Bellator event here, but be aware that we also have a breakdown of UFC Vegas 40 in a separate piece. As far as main cards go, Bellator 268 is on the shorter side of things, with just 4 fights. That said, the headliner is a title fight, so still a lot to look forward to. Henry Corrales Vs Vladyslav Parubchenko
The main event starts with a Featherweight bout featuring a pair of fighters looking to get back to winning ways. Corrales has had some real issues of late, losing 3 of his last 4 fights to fall to 18-6 overall. While not quite so bad in recent fights, Parubchenko is looking to bounce back after a loss last time out, but that is a minor blip in what has been a very good 16-2 run as a pro. I like this one to go the distance, with Corrales getting the decision.
Benson Henderson Vs Brent Primus
We have a similar story in the Lightweight bout that is next up on the main card, with both fighters looking to get back to winning. Henderson is 28-10, but he has come derailed of late, losing each of his last 2 fights. Primus comes into this one with a 10-2 record, but the downside is that those 2 losses have come in his last 4 fights. This has all the makings of a fight set to go the distance. I think it will be Primus who gets the win.
Ryan Bader Vs Corey Anderson
The co-main event of the night is a tournament semi-final at the Light Heavyweight division. Ryan Bader spent some time in the UFC but is now a mainstay in Bellator. Overall, he is 28-6 and has 3 wins in his last 5 fights, as well as a No Contest. Anderson is 15-5 overall, but his recent form has been fantastic, winning 6 of his last 7 fights. This has all the makings of a fantastic fight, and I am going with Anderson to get the KO win.
Vadim Nemkov Vs Julius Anglickas
The final fight of the night is one worth waiting for, as it is for the Light Heavyweight Championship. Nemkov is 14-2 and has gone unbeaten since 2016. Since that defeat, he has won 8 in a row, so he has certainly earned this title shot. Anglickas started life as a pro by going 1-1, but he has won 9 in a row since then to get to 10-1. This is a great matchup, but I think we have a clear favorite. I am on Nemkov to get the KO win.
