The Elks took a 22-point lead against Winnipeg and looked like they would win their first game of the season. However, Edmonton collapsed under the weight of the Blue Bombers’ passing attack and fell to 0-9 on the season. The Elks have the league’s worst scoring offense, only allowing 14.9 points per game.
Edmonton is 3-6 against the spread this season. The total has gone under in six of the Elks’ nine games this season. Hamilton has lost two of the past three games.
The Tiger-Cats have seen the last three games go under the total. Hamilton has struggled on defense, allowing 29 points per game, which ranks last in the league.

The Blue Bombers have been picking up major momentum. Even without quarterback Zach Collaros last week, Winnipeg was able to rally from a three-score deficit to beat the Elks last week. However, the Blue Bombers will need to maintain their mental toughness to beat the desperate Stampeders.
Calgary is in fourth place in the West Division and wants to try and stay in the race for third place. The Stampeders have lost three of their past four games and only scored nine points in a loss to the Lions last week. Calgary has struggled to throw the ball. The Stampeders pass for 246.9 yards per game, which ranks seventh in the league.

Montreal Alouettes at Ottawa Redblacks

Ottawa quarterback Dustin Crum played well last week, completing 21 of 26 passes for 292 yards and three touchdowns.
The Alouettes have won three straight games against teams below them in the standings. Montreal’s defense has been excellent at keeping teams out of the endzone. The Alouettes only allow 19.4 points per game, which is the second-best average in the league.

The Lions quickly bounced back from a loss to Winnipeg last week by beating up on Calgary. What helped B.C. was having quarterback Vernon Adams Jr. back in the lineup. Adams passed for 422 yards and four touchdowns. While Adams can struggle with turnovers, B.C. has compiled a strong record this season.
The Lions are 6-2-1 against the spread and 7-2 straight up. Saskatchewan is 4-5 this season but has struggled since losing quarterback Trevor Harris for the season with a serious injury. Harris has dropped four of its past five games.
