Weekly Betting Rundown and Analysis of the Best Cricket Games for the Week

India vs Australia T20 Series – Tuesday, Friday and Sunday

Tomorrow morning sees the three-match T20 series kick-off between India and Australia at 10:00 AM ET, with all three matches being played this week across Tuesday, Friday and Sunday.

India head into this series off the back of an underwhelming Asia Cup, where they were the significant favorites and yet failed to make the final after suffering losses to Sri Lanka and Pakistan. However, talk from the Indian camp over the last week has been positive, with the side happy to have implemented their ultra-aggressive batting approach, despite the result. No doubt India will be looking for more of the same approach against Australia, just with the results going their way this time.

For Australia, this will be the last time they head overseas before returning home to defend the T20 World Cup on home soil. The Aussies are in decent form at the moment but will be eager to solidify some of their middle order and bowling combinations ahead of the World Cup, plus gain a bit of confidence over world No.1 India.

India are favorites in the first match, with a Moneyline of -179 for them to win the opener.

Pakistan vs England T20 Series – Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday

Another T20 series between cricketing super-powers gets underway tomorrow, with Pakistan vs. England playing the first of seven T20s at 11:00 AM ET on Tuesday. Three more matches will follow in the week, with games packed in on Thursday, Friday, and Sunday as well.

Pakistan will have mixed feelings about their recent performance at the Asia Cup. On the one hand, they made the final and finished ahead of four other teams. On the other hand, they bungled a prime opportunity to claim the title, with top dogs India failing to make the final. They will also be eager for their batters to show some form, having only made over 150 twice in six games.

England will also be seeking to use this series to gain some form ahead of the World Cup. Their Test side has been racing along this summer, winning six of seven Test matches under new head coach Brendan McCullum and his positive, aggressive approach to the game. However, the T20 side under Jos Buttler has misfired a little, and they will be seeking some continuity over the next few weeks before it really matters.

Pakistan’s recent form earns them the position of favorites for the opening game, with odds of -167 for the home side to win.
