While the rest of the sports world slowly starts to talk about returning to action, the world of eSports goes on unabated, with games and tournaments taking place all over the world on a daily basis. Pick a game and you will find one league or another taking place on any given day. Being able to stream those games online makes the idea of wagering on the action all the more appealing. We are doing our best to cover as many eSports games as possible, and we are going to look at a pair of different Dota 2 tournaments that have games on the schedule on Thursday, May 28. These tournaments are both in the playoff stages, so it’s all to play for in these games. Without further ado, let’s get to the action and have a look at the Dota 2 betting odds for the upcoming matches.

Dota 2 May 28th Matches

CIS Division 1

Let’sGoBoys Vs miaww

The top 4 teams in the 8-team league moved into the playoffs, with these teams occupying the #2 and #3 seeds. Let’sGoBoys finished second in the regular season with a 5-1-1 record in CIS Division 1 play. They were 11-3 in games won in the best of 2 matches in the single round robin, so they are going to be a very tough nut to crack. They were closely followed by miaww in third, as they went 3-3-1 (0-5) on their way to a playoff spot. If there is a sliver lining for the eventual loser of this best of 5, it is that they will drop into the losers bracket and still have a shot at winning it all. I am with Let’sGoBoys to win this one given that they won the regular season meeting by a score of 2-0.

NOVA Vs Balawkalar

The other game in the opening round of the upper bracket sees top seeded NOVA take on Balawkalar. NOVA made things look a little too easy in the regular season, going 6-1-0, while finishing 13-1 in games played. When they faced Balawkalar in the round robin, NOVA pulled away to a rather straightforward 2-0 win in the best of 2 game. Balawkalar made it into the playoffs by the skin of their teeth, finishing with a 3-1-3 record in the regular season, going 7-7 in games played. The reality is that they look to be in over their heads here, which is why I am on NOVA to win this best of 5 by a score of 3-0.

Southeast Asia Division 1

Kingpins Vs Neon Esports

This game serves as the upper bracket final in the playoffs. The winner will move on to the Grand Final, while the loser will drop down into the lower bracket final. What that means is that this might well serve as a preview of the championship game. Kingpins finished the regular season on top, going unbeaten with 4 wins and 3 draws, while Neon Esports took second with a 5-1-1 record. They were made to work a little harder in the playoffs, needing all 3 games to move on. Kingpins won the regular season meeting 2-0, and I like them to win and move on here.
