League of Legends LCS June 27th Matches Odds & Picks

One of the great things about wagering on eSports, particularly League of Legends, is that there are games to choose from every single day. Not only that, because the leagues are divided into regions across several different time zones, the games are spread out over the course of any given day. For those of you who like to watch and wager, the LCS might well be your best bet, as that is the North American version of the league. Their games generally start in the late afternoon and go on through the night. They have a pretty full schedule ready to go on Saturday, with 4 games on tap. Let’s take a closer look at the matches, League of Legends Odds and make some predictions as we go.

League of Legends LCS June 27th Matches Odds & Picks

Counter Logic Gaming (+108) Vs 100 Thieves (-158)

We are 4 games into the Summer Season and these two teams are already heading in very different directions. Counter Logic are off to a strong start, going 3-1, which is a huge surprise given that they were dead last in Spring with a 3-15 regular season record. 100 Thieves had to play a tiebreaker in the playoffs in Spring, but eventually moved on, only to get blown out in the quarterfinal. They have made a slow start at 1-3 and look to be in trouble here.

TSM (+156) Vs Evil Geniuses (-232)

As it stands at the moment, TSM would be in the winner’s bracket of the playoffs with their 6th place standing, but they will be looking to move up and improve on their 2-2 record. This is similar to where they ended last season, eventually going out in the second round in the loser’s bracket. Evil Geniuses came up a win short of being in the Grand Final last season, but they look ready to make another run, going 3-1 to start the season. I think they will improve that record to 4-1 with a win here.

Dignitas (+267) Vs Team Liquid (-454)

Dignitas required a tiebreaker in the spring season, but they were unable to come through that and move into the playoffs. The disappointment of that ending appears to have carried over into the Summer Season, as they have been unable to get anything going and are 0-4 to start the season. Team Liquid finished second bottom in Spring with a 7-11 record, missing out on the playoffs, but they look set to bounce back after starting this season at 3-1. I like them to improve on their fast start with a win on Saturday.

Immortals (+140) Vs Golden Guardians (-208)

The LCS is forgiving in that 8 of the 10 teams end up making it out of the regular season and into the playoffs. Both of these teams are in danger of missing out, though, if their early season form continues. Immortals are dead last at 0-4, which is not particularly surprising given that they finished 8th in the Spring Season. Golden Guardians are just above them at 1-3, which is a disappointing start for a team that worked their way into the Loser’s Bracket last season. I think the Golden Guardians will move up the standings with a win here.
