MLB Betting Predictions for the Complete Giants vs. Brewers Series

MLB Betting Predictions for the Complete Giants vs. Brewers Series

Two of the better teams in baseball are set to battle it out this weekend in Milwaukee as the Brewers host the San Francisco Giants for four games. Both teams have similar records, but the playoff outlook looks much different for each team based on their division.

San Francisco games into this series with an overall record of 24-25, and that puts them in third place in the NL West Division. The Giants just had their three-game winning streak snapped, but they are coming into this with momentum.

Milwaukee has won three of its last four games, and they are now in first place in the NL Central Division. The Brewers bring a 27-22 record into this series, and they are usually a much better team at home.

The Giants took two of three games from the Brewers earlier this month in a series played in San Francisco.

Giants Getting Some Power

The San Francisco Giants missed out on signing some big names in the offseason, but the current offense is still performing well. San Francisco has belted 67 home runs this season, and this team is able to put runs on the board in a hurry.

Michael Conforto is in his first season with the Giants, and he leads the team with ten home runs. The Giants have always been able to string hits together, and that will be a key against Milwaukee.

Logan Webb and Alex Cobb are set to start on Saturday and Sunday for the Giants, and those pitchers are usually extremely consistent. If they have a chance to give the Giants a series win, then they should be able to deliver.

Pitching Powering the Brewers

The Milwaukee Brewers actually have a team ERA of 4.05, but they have some starting pitchers that can shut down any opponent. Milwaukee is looking for a starter in the series opener, but they also have some aces going this weekend.

Rowdy Tellez leads the Brewers with 12 home runs this season, and Christian Yelich is starting to hit the ball well. Milwaukee always seems to find more power in their home ballpark, and they will need some big blasts in this series.

The Brewers are not a team that is very flashy, but they appear to know how to win.

Expect a Competitive Series

Milwaukee should have the advantage of playing this series at home, but they are also dealing with some injuries to the starting rotation. The key for San Francisco will be winning the games in which the Brewers aren’t starting one of their Cy Young candidates.

The Brewers are a team with a dominant bullpen, and that pitching staff has thrown two shutouts in a row. Milwaukee still needs to find a way to get more offense, but it doesn’t take much with that pitching staff.

You should expect a competitive series in Milwaukee, and the most likely outcome would be to expect a split in these four games.
