When you have two teams who hate each as much as the Yankees and Red Sox do going head to head, you learn to expect the unexpected. These types of match-up are often the ones where trends and the form book goes out the window. That does not mean that you should ignore the numbers completely when betting on these types of games, though, and it is the current stats that I am going to use to try and come up with some betting predictions. Boston and New York will be playing a 3-game series that will start on Tuesday night, and I am going to look at the moneyline, the spread, and the total for the series. The baseball betting odds for the upcoming games have not yet been released, so it goes without saying that you should check those out before getting your bets on.
Analyzing The Predictions On How To Bet Red Sox Vs Yankees 2017 MLB Series
Red Sox Vs Yankees Moneyline
Both teams are coming in with winning records, with the Yankees a little better overall. New York are 32-22 on the season, whereas the Red Sox are 31-25, enough to give the Yankees a 2-game lead stop the division. In this series, it’s probably more important that we look at what each team is doing in regards their home and away records. The Yankees, who will be playing host this week, are a solid 17-8 at home, which makes them a tough proposition for any opponent. The Red Sox are a game below .500 (14-15) on the road, which does not bode particularly well for them. The edge here must go to the Yankees, although I don’t think a sweep is in the cards, so try to pick at least one game where the Red Sox might have the pitching advantage.
