They had won 7 of 9 before dropping back to back games against the Blue Jays to end the week. If they are to pull off the division upset, they are going to need to improve on their 26-34 road record, starting this week. It will be Gerrit Cole (10-8, 3.96 ERA) who will start this one.Everyone keeps waiting for the Brewers to slip away and fall out of contention, but they are proving to be a resilient bunch, and are still just 2.5 games out of the division lead. They finished the weekend on a high, winning back to back games to bring an end to a 6-game losing skid. The downside here is that the Brewers are just 3-8 versus the Pirates this season, and suffered a 4-game sweep in the last meeting. Jimmy Nelson (9-6, 3.72 ERA) will be on the mound for the Brewers.MLB Picks: Pittsburgh Pirates 4 Milwaukee Brewers 2
