KSW 79: Wrzosek vs. Možný Odds Favorites, Betting Predictions & Analysis

We have a really good main card waiting for us on Saturday afternoon, with the KSW delivering 7 fights that include a title bout as the headliner. KSW 79 is set to go at 1 PM EST on Saturday afternoon and you can catch all the action on internet PPV. There is a lot of ground to cover with this event, so let’s jump right in and preview all 7 fights on the main card for your KSW Betting.

MMA Betting Preview and Picks for KSW 79: Wrzosek vs. Možný Main Card

Ramzan Jembiev Vs Murilo Delfino

We get the evening started with a Catchweight bout between a pair of fighters still relative new to the pro fight game. Jembiev is 3-1 overall, winning 3 in a row after dropping his first fight. Delfino is still perfect as a pro, going 3-0, but this may well be his toughest test yet. I think it will be Jembiev who comes away with the decision win.

Michal Kita Vs Daniel Omelianczuk

A pair of battle-scarred veterans, both of whom are in their 40s, go head-to-head in this Heavyweight bout. Kita comes in with a 21-15-1 record, but he has also lost 4 of his last 5 fights. Omelianczuk is 26-13-1, and while he won his last fight, that victory snapped a 3-bout losing skid. I think it will be Omelianczuk who gets the win via KO.

David Hosek Vs Andreas Berg Gustafsson

Next up is a Middleweight bout that looks to be one of the most evenly matched on the main card. Hosek is 8-3-1 and coming into this one in great form, winning 4 of his last 5 bouts. Gustafsson is 7-1, winning 6 in a row before taking his first loss, which he bounced back from with a win last time out. Bit of a coin flip here, but I am taking Gustafsson.

Brian Hooi Vs Jivko Stoimenov

Next up, we have the Welterweights stepping into the octagon. Hooi has a very respectable 18-9 record, but he will be looking to bounce back after losing last time out, his 2nd loss in 4. It is a similar story for Stoimenov, who has lost 2 of his last 3 to fall to 13-5 overall. Both men need a win here, but I think it will be Hooi that prevails via KO.

Tomas Mozny Vs Arkadiusz Wrzosek

We have a Heavyweight bout up next and a tough one to call given that both fighters are new to the pro game. Mozny has sent more time in the kickboxing ranks, going just 1-1 when turning to MMA. It is the same story for Wrzosek, who has just 1 MMA bout, although he did come out on top. I have Wrozek winning this one quite quickly.

Dominik Humburger Vs Nemanja Nikolic

The co-main event of the night is a beauty, with both of these fighters at the top of their game in the Middleweight division. Humburger is a perfect 5-0 and has yet to go beyond Round 2. Nikolic drew his first pro bout, but he has since gone on to win 9 in a row. He is also a KO specialist, so I don’t see this fight lasting long. I have Humburger for the win.

Phil De Fries Vs Todd Duffee

We close the night out with a battle for the Heavyweight belt, with De Fries coming in as the defending champion. He is 22-6 overall and the winner of 10 in a row, which includes a perfect 8-0 record with the KSW, Duffee is 9-3 overall and actually has a winning record in the UFC. This, though, seems like a bridge to far, which is why I like De Fries to keep the belt.
