LFA 123: Argueta Vs Santos Betting Analysis & Predictions

The weekend is upon us once again, which means that it’s time to get ready for more exciting MMA action. It’s going to be a busy schedule over the next couple of days, starting on Friday night with LFA 123. This event can be viewed on UFC Fight Pass starting at 9 PM EST on Friday night. While there are no title fights to look forward to at LFA 123, we do have an exciting main card that is home to 6 very good bouts. We are going to quickly break each of those fights down, delivering LFA Betting Odds and predictions as we go, so let’s get to it.

MMA Betting Preview for LFA 123: Argueta Vs Santos

Halston Williams Vs Logan Nail

We get the evening rolling with a Light Heavyweight bout between a pair of fighters still new to the pro level. Williams is coming in off an overpowering first round win last time out after losing his first outing as a pro. Nail is 2-2, and while it is still early in his career, he has yet to put together consecutive wins. I don’t see this one lasting long, as I like Williams to win by KO.

Alberto Rodriguez (-145) Vs Beau Samaniego (+115)

We have the Featherweights up next and 2 more fighters who are in the early stages of their pro journey. Rodriguez is 3-1 thus far, evenly splitting his bouts between early finishes and going the distance. Samaniego is 2-1 and looking to get a consecutive win for the first time. He has had 2 of his 3 fights finish in the opening round. I am on Rodriguez by decision.

Payton Brezinski (+110) Vs Cody Davis (-140)

We have a Flyweight bout next, with both fighters in this one proving to be very tough to beat. Brezinski started his pro career at 1-1, but he has since reeled off 3 straight wins and has never gone the distance in his 5 fights. Davis is 4-0, but unlike his opponent, he has had to work hard for wins, getting 3 by decision. I think this one goes all 3 rounds, with Davis edging it.

Josh Streacker (+170) Vs Miguel Jacob (-210)

We have a Lightweight bout up next, with one of these fighters looking to snap out of a poor run of form. That would be Streacker, who comes into this fight at 7-4 overall after losing 3 of his last 5 fights. Things aren’t about to get any easier for him here, as Jacob comes in with an impressive 5-1 record. I have Jacob taking this one by decision.

Askar Askar Vs Ryskulbek Ibraimov

The co-main event of the night looks to be a beauty, with a pair of accomplished Bantamweight fighters stepping into the octagon. Askar has a very respectable 12-2 record, but each of those losses have come in his last 4 fights. Ibraimov is coming into this one on the heels of a loss, which snapped an 8-fight win streak. I think this one goes all the way, with Askar getting the nod.

Daniel Argueta (-250) Vs Mairon Santos (+195)

The headline event of the night is a Bantamweight bout that features a pair of unbeaten fighters squaring off. Argueta does have a loss to his name, but it came in an exhibition bout and did not impact his 6-0 record. Santos is on fire and has frequently flashed some real power on his way to a 12-0 career mark. A good fight here, but Argueta for the win.
