LFA 144: Gafurov Vs Silva Betting Favorites, Fights Analysis & Predictions

It’s another busy weekend in the world of MMA, with a pair of big events set to go on Friday. The good news is that the KSW event takes place in the early afternoon, while this one, LFA 144, is set to go on Friday night, starting at 9 PM EST on UFC Fight Pass. This is definitely one worth tuning into and wagering on, as we have a 6-fight main card that closes out with a title fight as the headliner. Let’s quickly break down all 6 fights, with predictions for each so you can get ready to make your bets against their LFA Odds.

MMA Betting Preview for LFA 144: Gafurov Vs Silva

Jacobi Jones Vs Christian Turner

We get the main card started with a Lightweight bout that has two relative newbies going head-to-head. Jones comes into this one with a 4-1 record, bouncing back with a win after taking his first loss. Turner has been perfect in the early going, putting together 3 straight wins to kickstart his pro career. I’m giving the slight edge to Turner here.

Christian Natividad Vs Israel Galvan

The Flyweights step into the octagon next for what should be an entertaining bout. Natividad is looking to protect his perfect record after seeing his pro career get off to a 4-0 start. After a bit of a wobbly start, Galvan has been putting it together of late, winning 4 in a row to get to 5-2 overall. A good matchup and one that I think Natividad wins.

Jared Revel Vs Renato Valente

Next up is a Middleweight bout with a pair of fighters looking to bet back to winning ways. Revel is 11-3 overall and looking to bounce back from a loss that snapped a 6-fight win streak. Valente is 8-5 overall and also in need of a win after losing 2 of his last 3. This should be a fun one that might well go the distance. Slight nod to Revel.

Yuma Horiuchi Vs Juan Puerta

We have another Flyweight bout up next and a pair of fighters heading in very different directions. Horiuchi has been pretty inconsistent throughout his career, going 9-5 overall, but just 2-3 in his last 5. Puerta is coming off a loss, but he is 23-7 overall and had won 12 in a row prior to that defeat. I think he gets back to winning in this one.

Jordan Heiderman Vs Daiqwon Buckley

The co-main event of the night features a pair of inexperienced fighters at the pro level, but both come in unbeaten, so a lot at stake. Heiderman is 5-0 and has made a habit of getting the job done quickly. Buckley is a perfect 3-0, but he has had to go the distance twice already. Heiderman just seems like the stronger of the two, which is why I have him for the KO win.

Muin Gafurov Vs Diego Silva

What better way to close out the night than with a fight for the vacant Bantamweight Championship. Gafurov comes in with a 17-4 career mark, but he has been wobbly of late, going 2-2 in his last 4. Silva is 15-7 and is in slightly better form, racking up 3 wins in his last 4 fights. This one seems evenly matched, but I am on Gafurov to take the belt.
